QUOTE(tajulsans @ Mar 4 2012, 05:23 AM) Not many shop carry this DV6 range, especially the "better" (read - more expensive) ones. Head to Mobility Square, they would have all range of the DV6. Good & honest, yes.. Cheaper than the rest, not really. You sweet talk for 2 hrs also i dont think they will give you any discount, best they would do is probably bundle some extra freebies. Mine when i bought it was sealed in a box (so definitely not a demo set), with upgrade to 3 yrs. Haha, how much more "expensive" they can get compared to getting from somewhere else ? And yeah im planning to get the 3yr's walk in warranty aswell, with the default warranty in place and the added on warranty does it sums up to 4yr's ? Thanks

QUOTE(Acid_RuleZz @ Mar 4 2012, 12:13 AM) Simple yet effective (in theory). Look like the hand rest part gonna be flexing when u put your hand. This one? http://www.coolwindows7themes.com/start-or...-start-orb.htmlthe fan are mistaking..sould be going upper...if u can see..its will bend the hand rest.. if the fan are repositioning...sould be ok...

Thanks No. The 3 years warranty is inclusive of the default warranty. So it is essentially an added 2 years warranty.

QUOTE(storky20 @ Mar 1 2012, 06:47 PM) Help guys! In most of my videos with the built in TrueVision HD webcam, there's always a white outline at the bottom left part of the video. I suspect that the culprit is a small speck of dust that somehow manage to enter the glass casing. Before this, there wasn't an outline at all and no dust particle as far as I can tell. So anyone know of a way of getting rid of the speck of dust? the circle webcam lens can be taken out but it may affect the quality of image in your subsequent use. it's better that you bring it to HP Centre, they will most likely change a new monitor panel for you just like mine

If you don't mind the slightly more expensive price and bundled with extra 4gb ram's selling at Mobility Square Lowyat @ RM3,099 non negotiable price you can go for it. For a peace of mind, non demo sets and non refurbished sets. Okay....seems like already have problems with the laptop already, the DVD/CD ROM doesnt seem to shut properly and tightly while the Internet Port where we plugin cable internet lines i have to slot it halfway in, when i fully slot it in seems like it doesnt detect it so its half entered only.......should i bring it back......? Yeah ill try and adjust the LAN ports.

Yeah, it was developed for touchscreen user and Metro GUI really need a good anti-aliasing especially the font... f-ugly. Can't test any game because there is no switchable driver yet. I like the new Task Manager though. Added on March 6, 2012, 1:04 amOh yeah.. my webcam worked in Win8 too. Don't know wtf happened to it in Win7. QUOTE(joeaggas @ Mar 1 2012, 02:31 AM) hi everyone, Bought the DV6-6168TX last Dec and still very much in love with this unit. I would like to share my experience of installing the 2nd HDD caddy from Casey. I still need to do some modification to the casing because the face plate latches need very small adjustments. With these mod, you can detach the faceplate again if need to reattach the DVD drive. However, the way I did this may likely void any warranty (if there is any). Removal and expanding the size of opening enable easier fitting of the face plate and removal for future. The two inner latch (smaller), can hold the cover in place. Detection by OS Cheers Sonovab-... I see what I was doing wrong back when I tried to do the same thing now. Just one question: how did you manage to mount the metal bracket at the back of the DVD drive to the caddy?
