QUOTE(joeaggas @ Mar 1 2012, 02:31 AM) Detection by OS ![]() Very nice! So now you have a total of 2TB HDD space? Added on March 7, 2012, 4:34 pmOn a side note, I am finally bluescreen-free on my DV6-6168TX. Previously all my BSODs pointed to either atikmpag.sys or dxgkrnl.sys. They happened after waking up from hibernate. After POST, the screen would go dark for 10 seconds, then BSOD. To fix this, I set the BIOS to "dynamic" graphics then using Leshcat's Catalyst 12.1 WHQL UnifL drivers, set it to use the Intel graphics for all applications regardless of whether or not the AC adaptor was plugged-in. Finally no more BSOD. I use the DV6 for work and for a lot of Powerpoint presentations when I am away from the office, so no need for Radeon graphics. Perhaps when I start gaming, I'll set it to Radeon. This post has been edited by elco-ph: Mar 7 2012, 04:34 PM |

QUOTE(Acid_RuleZz @ Mar 7 2012, 06:36 PM) Give us some review or tips when u've got it. Really? I wonder how the Apple MacBook Pro (OSX Lion) does switching graphics? My friend has one, and he never had problems waking up from hibernate even when booting to Windows. Congratz to you. I think it is something to do with dGPU not able to wake up fast enough to feed the iGPU, even on Nvidia side have this similar problem. |

MBP? If i recall correctly, Apple use their own method of graphic switching, iGPU doesn't work in Windows so dGPU will run all the times..
