I updated IDT driver today but changing BeatsAudio slider didn't make any difference at all. I rolled back to old driver and it still doesn't work. Anyone experience the same thing before?

Help guys!

In most of my videos with the built in TrueVision HD webcam, there's always a white outline at the bottom left part of the video. I suspect that the culprit is a small speck of dust that somehow manage to enter the glass casing. Before this, there wasn't an outline at all and no dust particle as far as I can tell. So anyone know of a way of getting rid of the speck of dust?

i can't think of anything other than stripping the lcd screen. better send it to service centre though.

I also don't know how. Maybe it was already there but didn't notice it. Currently at New Zealand lol. After taking a walk along the electronics store here, I highly doubt they're engineers are proficient with this model of laptop.

They're still selling the previous generation DV6 (pre 6001TX) :S

It happens when I'm using it for skype. Mostly evident when people on the other side maximise their screen la. It's like a transparent grid effect that appears whenever there's a white background. It's mostly just annoying for some people but I guess it should be okay?

Anyways, I'll be bringing my laptop to a service centre once I'm free of uni assignments. Laptop still works like a charm but just got minor issue like the dust in webcam area and the grid like effect.

Overall, still okay.

Don't real know how to use it. Unlike eBoostr where i can blacklist which files/folders i don't want it to cache, this one seem like will cache anything on the partition i've set.

today really boring...
so i plan to design new laptop cooler (since i dun use once)
its a new design from me..if not i so sorry..
the problem if we use normal laptop cooler its..
1. no hand rest..so hand are floating..
2. cool air are escaping, normal cooler just cooling external or casing laptop, not the inside of laptop.
3. laptop suddenly slip from cooler, even have rubber feet.
4. no filter, some have, normal cooler just have metal honey cone or ventilation hole.

so i create some new cooler for solve all this problem.
my cooler have or being change.
1. have hand rest and use foam for long period laptop using.
2. create air chamber from foam. so its use 100% cool air and cooling all hardware.
3. have foam to locking the laptop, also hand rest shape are design for lock the laptop,
4. have filter and its removeable, so its can easy for clean

So........i was looking around to buy a laptop for Around 2-3k+ with good specs for Gaming/Autocad/3D Animation and stumbled across this. (Eventhough i've been an avid follower to this thread from time to time, hehe)

Not many shop carry this DV6 range, especially the "better" (read - more expensive) ones. Head to Mobility Square, they would have all range of the DV6. Good & honest, yes.. Cheaper than the rest, not really. You sweet talk for 2 hrs also i dont think they will give you any discount, best they would do is probably bundle some extra freebies. Mine when i bought it was sealed in a box (so definitely not a demo set), with upgrade to 3 yrs.
