Moving on (Not talking abt the kindi anymore as I was updated that it is solved)

In residence meeting, only one vote is countable from every house unit to make important decisions.
Don't care if the house lives 20 person or 1 person, the vote still count as ONE from a house.

To select the committee members, if the owner is not joining, the owner have to fill up form to appoint a representative from the house. And he/she may vote as one vote.

Investor that have unit there must join too. (I never heard such thing that only residence can vote or decide)

Are we implementing this?

Investors should not vote. Because immediate decisions need local residence only to vote.

If they are staying in Singapore how are they going to help us in our activites. Than everytime to make a decision we have to wait for them to reply to us.

Waiting for thier reply might be a delay for 1 month.

Fogging,guards,drainage system,cleanist this decision are made by local residence. Why do we need votes for investors which are not going to be here to enjoy the facility and decision the RA makes.

This is practise every where else.

Non-attendees would not be able to vote. But we do not have the right to deny them their vote if they attend the meeting.
Investors can also appoint proxies.

I would want Spira and Viola to have separate RAs. There can be common collaboration (i.e. joint procurement of security services, fogging etc.) but I fail to see why Viola owners should have a say on how Spira operates and vice versa.

Better to have standalone RAs, and then do joint procurement/negotiation when necessary. Also makes it easier to involve Sephira, Aquina etc. when they VP

Agree! More people, more mouths and difficult to reach a compromised decision. Spira has 136 houses. Need majority to start RA?

Rosemary, a gentle reminder not to layan unconstructive or provocative statements made by anyone.

Totally agreed on the RA being seperated by between Spira and viola. And owners be it investors or residents should not be denied of their votes.

Appreciate if someone can spearhead / initiate the forming of RA.

136 houses but only 37 houses occupied. we need local residence whom are staying to address any issue faster. Placing a representative might lead tommorow to another issue. Residence can ask directly that you are not staying here so cannot feel our problems.just attend meeting only.

The note above and below is intended to Spira owners/residents only.

I hope we dont have to pay a hefty price for the security once the payment is handed to us. As per my estimation, this will only come in August or September when the first of people were given the keys.

FYI my new tenant is joining in July. Will give them the heads up regarding all contributions and issues regarding security (mandatory, urgent), fogging (optional), kindergarten (settled) and workers staying in Spira (pending).

The challenge is to collect the maintenance fees from the empty units

hi..living in the community like Alam Impian with owner background that has high education or high lifestyle, for sure has a lot of arguments...but most of us must able to tolerate to each other and start accepting majority against minority (although the decision is incorrect)....most of us want to have peaceful neighborhood, nice jiran and tolerate to each other.......

For info..Viola street lamp already ON, but i see there is one house that rent it out to Africans...i foresee a problem...hmmmm...

Every house should be given 1 vote. If you own 100 houses, then you have 100 votes. Like it or not this is valid.

Investor or residence, no difference, as long as you are the house owner, you have the right to vote.

about those african, Very simple, .should you see any issue, then make a complain or report....it is not fair to chase out people before hand....there are some good one also .....but i agree that unfortunately till now, they are somehow associated with sinister act.....i pity those good guy...If i am the owner, i wont take risk.

100% agree with you. Splitting Spira n Viola gives both more advantage to solve own area problems.

I dont mind to initiate this. But im not staying there yet and going for maternity soon. This timing is not suitable. So, we really need someone more suitable who can be dedicated on this task. Any volunteer from Spira?

Chase them away out of the country. I am tellinv you a secret. Last time my mom worked as a lecturer in one of a college in Klang. A lot of Africans name registered and paid tuition fees but no physical Africans studying there. But the college didnt care coz got free money. Totally irresponsible of the college. Mom not working there anymore. I guess the Africans registered are up
to no good

The real culprits are those colleges like LKW, MMU etc

having said that i kind of reckon that this ppl is creating a lot of social problem in malaysia. I wonder why our gov always attract ppl fr less develop country like bangla, myanmar, nepal, indon, paksitan, africa, middle east and so on?
