dunno why the problem resurfaced again
this time i use magnet method is useless to bring the lcd to life
i found that this time when i press the left side or the right side of touch pad (between the spec sticker for right, and between the nvidia sticker for left), i can bring the lcd back
i wonder what is the real problem
coz base on the previous pic, seem like nth is there
should i bring in for RMA?

sounds like a hardware issue

Just bought my G53SX yesterday from Digital Mall PJ. Got to say, loving it right now.

A question though: my USB 3.0 port isn't working, do I need to install a specific driver? It's not reading my USB 3.0 hard drive.

One more thing. Is there a big improvement between 4GB and 8GB. Boot time takes a while even on a freshly installed computer

u can refer to the 1st page for the drivers. As for the boot time its not determined by ur RAM i guess, if u want a lighting fast boot time u can opt for SSD drive

Gulp. SSD ehhhh. hahaha. will think about that planning on putting hackintosh on this baby. Will tell you guys how that goes later
