but i really wan to own a G-series ah~

you can get all the speakers to produce sound. but it won't be 5.1 in the sense that each speaker has it own output. It'll just be left and right (2.1) So that won't be surround sound since you can't arrange the 2 speakers to be behind you. You ned the 5.1 channel soundcard to do so.

Added on January 10, 2012, 12:56 amso basically you buy 5.1 speaker without soundcard you wasting money. the satallite speaker quality of the Z523 is better thanthe Z506, but imo the Z506 more pretty. (iirc the sub of the Z523 is better too)

So no sound card mean you waste money to get quantity > quality

this time i use magnet method is useless to bring the lcd to life
i found that this time when i press the left side or the right side of touch pad (between the spec sticker for right, and between the nvidia sticker for left), i can bring the lcd back
i wonder what is the real problem
coz base on the previous pic, seem like nth is there
should i bring in for RMA?

XXXCRIMINAL got refund from asus bro..they cant solve the problem,,what is the display prob? share with us

most probably i think i know why..there is a connector between the lcd and the motherboard/graphic card..maybe your connector is loose..this is a result when asus service center dismantle your laptop, the connector become loose..maybe bro

do like what xxxcriminal did..he also when to sc three times..he ask for refund and got it..then after you get refund, you can get the g55..thats my suggestion la

they already approve to refund me, need to wait about 2-3 week to get the money...

still thinking what model should i buy lar,
alienware mahal, low spec, buat beautiful
asus G55, price ok, high spec , outlook ok, but 1 drive bay only, i wana slot in msata ssd it will void the warranty , quality n service...
toshiba, Qosmio , dunno yet, my friend say it will come out v the new model next 2-3 week... wait n c~~

planning ask for refund n change new 1??

it may seems tat both open vents will blow out air easier.
but scientifically, when one vent is 100% open and the other is juz slightly open, air flow is more effective.
tis is because they are of different pressure. when air are pushes inside towards the narrow vent, it is at a higher pressure, it will flow directly towards the bigger vent. hence, this may be a more effective air flow system.

tis is the same as opening a can of condensed milk, where u nid an additional small hole for it to flow out thru the big hole tat u buka wif the can opener thingy.
