Yeah sort of like OPC but not as strong. But after coating with Permanon then its even better than using OPC.

1) Was a stupid story, that time I was working part time for Kumon while waiting for my new job. Then I ranted a little here, and a sensitive parent came and sorta 'cursed' me to go eat my maggi and die (so happened I was eating maggi at that time), and so it became one of the hottest phrase to be used in this thread.

LOL.. Finally got it diagnosed.. RM90 quite ok for standard Bosch pads.. U shd have got a better brand instead.. Gives a more progressive feel for the brakes and lesser brake dust..

Nope, its not strong enough to remove watermark, that one u have to use claybar to do that.

Yeah.. Inflate at cold tire temperature, front 33psi or 230kpa, back 31psi or 215kpa. If u always carry a lot of ppl at the back then increase it to 220kpa.

Ok answers..
1) Crank pulley, ripped out from the engine block together with the connecting portion of the engine and broke the crankshaft.
2) Gearbox torque converter (I think), cos the baseplate resembles a torque converter.. and the piston thingy is the roller for the crankshaft..
3) Either its one of the planetary gear or the accelerator before the clutch engages.
4) Titanium testicles rolled out after accident. its actually the roller for something inside the gearbox.
5) Environmental friendly shopping bags!! hahaha..

By the way damage was horrible, engine bottom block crack terribly, gearbox literally shattered, the front impact bar and the radiator took most of the damage. And the engine broke off its mounting and shifted towards the back a lot, touching the firewall.. Drive shaft totally broken, Steering shaft also bend, cant use the steering at all.. ABS pump kaput also. Interior damage = 0. Except for the airbags. No interior cabin intrusion at all and pedal all still its right place.. Visibly nothing was damaged. All of this in a head on collision at around speeds of 60kmh.

Best thing is, the radio, central locking, remote boot release and lights all STILL WORKS! Good job for Proton.. The car was amazing.. If it was a myvi the engine would be somewhere else.. Front would be unrecognisable ady.. hahaha..

Dunno wor.. The foreman and towtruck fella said not total lost.. Mostly like around 20-25k to repair damage at least. I also book the whole brake kit and rims and steering with HU controls and all the leather seats ady.. haha.. If total lost then Im going to transplant whatever i can salvage into my car.
Too bad ABS unit hancur ady.. So cant take that part also. Brake pump also survived. hehe..

Whoever experiencing this kind of sound but dunno what it is.. Here is it.
Its due to the braking power not sufficient enough and when u release the brake a bit and when the car is in D the brake will groan cos the power of the car is able to overcome the braking power a bit and start moving the car.
This problem is experienced in almost all the cars. Myvi, Vios all have the same problem.. Only cars with twin pot brakes may have lesser encounter with this. and car with 4 pot brakes and above wont encounter this at all..

1. Its not a crank pulley.. A crank pulley is attached with a crank shaft.. This is the pulley for aircond compressor.. Can u see the two holes below the pulley there? Its the inlet chamber for the R13 gas to travel.. Behind it is the clutch for the magnet compressor, that wire is to supply power for the clutch to engaged & disengaged the clutch.

2. Its the piston for the compressor.. Have u ever see  a torque converter before? Its looks like that indian food : Puree. This is a compressor pistons to compress the gas.

As for the first pic I really thought it was a crank pulley lah.. It was broken off from the engine base where the crank pulley will normally be located. So thought itu Crank pulley.

Haha.. Got a lot more pieces around.. But all of it too oily.. So i didnt take it back.. Only these few parts were clean enough to be picked up..

As for the lock problem u can ask SC to help get it checked for u.

Maha1 after coming back from KL on 1st dec 2.30AM in the morning park car in my house till today never start the car. Just now FB call me go out went rushing to start the car that time realised battery TOTALLY DIEDED!

Battery died totally, until the cabin light wont on at all, the meter needle bar light also wont on when the car door is open and put in the car key to start totally cant even turn on the radio or anything also. Its just like my car battery someone stole it away. D1u..

Worst thing of all 2 days b4 i go down to JB my car central locking giving me tons of problem, car door wont lock at all eventhough alarm can arm.. And if manual lock the door, the lock will pop up within a min or 2.. Ciba1.. I want to change car ady.. Car only exactly 1year 1mth old then battery kong somemore..

option 2 lah.. better IRR.. 2mil is safety tint ady.. 6mil later u will need the lifetime power window warranty from proton for sure.. and when tint are very thick it tend to be blurry to view out of the window..

Just put ur leg to the exhaust hole there and cover the whole then tell someone else to rev the car.. If u can hear the exhaust sound rushing out from somewhere else then there is a leak somewhere.

Mine is also Cannycool.. But then my tint used to be 20% VLT.. now lightened up until like only 35% VLT ady..

The best battery i ever used was Yokohama maintenance battery.. Last in my B14 Sentra for a full 5 and a half year b4 giving a bit of problem.. That battery still hvnt totally died yet..

Anyways for my battery, i rip off the sticker and opened up those maintenance free seal below it. Its just a normal plug with rubber lining on it to prevent water vapourisation.. When i opened it, shocking.gif there was barely enough battery water to cover the plates. In 2 of the compartment the battery water not even enough to cover the plates.. Straight go buy 1bottle battery water to top up.. Use up the whole bottle ngam ngam enough for all compartment. Its quite difficult to see inside though since the casing is not transparent and i was doing it after midnight this morning.. After pour water then took the NS70L battery and jumpstart it.. Our Din45R battery only supports 45Amp/hr, NS70L is around 63-70amp/hr if im not mistaken.. The moment connect jumpstart cable alarm blared like mad.. Middle of the night wake up the whole neighbourhood.. hehehe.. After jumpstart ady went around drive drive go find the NL i ffk the other time.. But the central locking still giving me problem.. basket.. Overall its nice to have my PE back alive.. hehe.

I use Toshiba and Pendrive.. No problem so far.. Never tried Kingston b4 though..
