Because BMW/Merc retains the smoothness by the number of gears (7 as standard on their flagships now, going into 8), and their gearbox can take higher torque than CVT. Yeah.. On the average u get around 8.5L-9.5L/100km.. It may seems high, but put it into perspective and see.. PE FC 8.5L-9.5L/100km.. Lets take 9L/100km. Myvi FC 7L-8.5L/100km. Take 8L/100km. Viva FC my car barely driven hardly consistently 7.5L/100km FC.. Difference only 1-1.5L/100km.. Thats only RM1.90- RM2.85 difference in petrol for every 100km u travel.. Lets say u use ur car for 50k km till the warranty runs out, u only spend extra RM1425 (50,000km/100km x RM2.85) for 50k km which is 2 years.. But see the practical use, persona big car, can bring a lot of ppl, very good handling, better nvh then other car.. RM1425 extra only.. Somemore u buy proton can get extra discount from SA.. Only in msia most of the foreign cars are brought in with sport rims, cos we msians love to have sport rims more than those europeans.. Its a proven fact in Asian market.. In say europe, most of the cars dont come with accessories in their base specs, its the owners that chooses the engine he wants and car body type then work his way upwards from there on.. In msia u go to car dealer u got a limited choice of accessories to choose from and most accessories are ady bundled together in the package from the start.

Its mostly the same.. It just depends on the package and how much the salesman is willing to give u in discount.. If u are staying near SS24 area then u can probably contact dcautoworld in automotive garage. He gives the best discounts so far..

Hmm mb is the bottom the bench seat there the hook.. Mb the sound is coming from there, and when u fold down the back seat the back seat presses on the bench seat and prevents the noise..

Not exactly.. It depends on the tolerance of the engine.. Most new engine nowadays have better tolerance.. So its safe to use 30 viscosity oil for a new engine.. ASSUMING that proton is quite up to standards in engine manufacturing.. I will be using AMS Oil 5W-30 for my car next service..

Yeah can.. But its recommended to use the oil from the start when the engine is new lah.. If u were to use 5W-30 for a tired engine.. Then the engine will seems to makan minyak hitam cos the oil seal wont be tight enough to prevent minor oil leaks and the piston rings also will have a bigger gap in between the cylinder wall and it..

I think for that money better get a continental car lah.. Even the Civic or Altis isnt really a good car.. for that car price, RM135,000, add on a bit more to 150k can get a better continental car such as Jetta, Focus etc etc.. These cars have very good NVH, handling is good, creature comfort is tip top.. and engine are very low FC.. Some more u wont have all this sound problem here and there.. When i can afford a mid range conti car im going for it for sure ady.. Not going to bother thinking of a japanese or korean car unless the specs and design is good and I have tried and tested the car properly.

Rarely hear anyone used true FS PAO for their engine in Malaysia for car at our range....even at 100K range, so not sure hw it goes. It's still a 30 weighted lube, so I'm not even going to try it on my PE coz I strongly believe the safest min. bet for LONG TERM usage is still 40 weighted lube for PE.
True PAO can last long but the long interval are also meant for non extreme condition. With our weather, dust, humidity, etc, I think you can safely presume to halved that interval at the very least. PAO can hold contaminants way better but can our engine really take it?
There are cases where true PAO lube prove unsuitable for certain standard engine. So although it is the best of the best, question is, IS our PE good enuf to use it

It will lah.. Sometimes the brake shoe will lari a bit from the proper seating.. Putting some pressure on the brake pads while the car is moving will force it to realign the brake shoe properly.. True story.

Change tire also maintain the same tire pressure.. 33psi front and 31psi back is more than enough.. Rmb that although the car tire will look kempis, when u start driving the car the air will heat up and the pressure will increase.. PSI means pound per square inch.. so when u pump 33psi for a tire whether 14" tire or 21" tire, it will still provide the same amount of pressure pre square inch of tire.. Ur car is not running low profile tire, so the side walls tend to be tall and softer than low profile tires which are hard and short.. So eventhough when u dont have enough tire pressure a taller sidewall tire will look more kempis eventhough the the diameter of the tire is exactly same.

Different Proton dealers have different discount and different promotions.
I went to a proton dealer last month, they insisted they could offer 1K discount while I heard other Proton dealer could offer 2K discount..
So far, I heard the highest is 3.5K for Persona Elegance High line, but this dealer is in Seremban

Did you connect 2 extra red light bulbs on your PE rear lamps (tail lights)?
LOL no worries.. Nope didnt do that.. There is no light bulb in there actually.. It just looks like there are 2 round bulbs which in fact they arent.. But u can try modding to put in another 2 bulbs there.. There are ppl who have done it b4.. Looks quite nice also..
Those bulbs which are supposed to be there are for rear fog lamp lights in foreign countries like UK where it is compulsory to have it.
