I hope it's the green telco!
And even if it's exclusive under telco, I hope we can buy it without contract This post has been edited by nerd: Nov 29 2011, 03:04 PM |

QUOTE(irenic @ Nov 29 2011, 02:46 PM) just tested ice cream sandwich and i can say it is perfect. Geez.. Cheaper than other samsung phone?- the animation is smooth and steady like windows phone - the looks, the sharpness and the color overall have improved a lot. they are just noticeably prettier than previous android - it's easy to navigate, unlike previous android. while we are okay with the current android, just try give the phone to your mom and dad (if they havent use android before), and definitely they won't find it easy to use. but this all has changed now. now menus are clear and user will know if there is any submenu or sub sub menu. i can say android 4.0.1 takes some of the good things in ios and windows phone 7.5 and enhance it to make a better android. well regarding RRP and when this device will be available in our market, i cant say the exact info, but i can say it's cheaper than the other samsung phone that just released and it's coming date is just around the corner. however it will be exclusive under telco That is one great news but reliable? Er, guys I know u guys were discussing about Umobile. You were all talking about the RM 28 Prepaid. That one has a 500 MB FUP(cap) right? After that you can still surf, but will be slowed down. I wonder what is the speeds like once u exceed 500 MB?
Another thing is Umobile offers RM 28 postpaid plan. To see more, just click the link. http://www.u.com.my/postpaid-packages/new-postpaid-plans Postpaid vs prepaid that I see: 1 GB FUP (cap) vs 500 MB 100 free SMS to Umobile and 200 free SMS to outside Umboile vs 30 free SMS 0 free minutes vs 100 free minutes Higher sms/call rates vs cheaper call/sms rates (on average) I text more than I call, so should be no issue. At the same time, I don't text like mad, so I should be under the 200 free SMS...... And we now got Whatsapp/Viber so yea.... Just wondering, anyone here knows how long is the contract for the postpaid line? I never had a postpaid line, so I wonder how is it like once I make the switch? And what is the process of switching providers like? Is it simple or complicated? This post has been edited by akash3656: Nov 29 2011, 04:42 PM |

( 1gb ) , and more costly rate for sms and call up to you to decide. This post has been edited by fcuk90: Nov 29 2011, 04:54 PM |

Basically, nothing you can do with it, other than just messaging.Just wondering, anyone here knows how long is the contract for the postpaid line? I never had a postpaid line, so I wonder how is it like once I make the switch? And what is the process of switching providers like? Is it simple or complicated? There is NO contract for U mobile's postpaid. You can terminate any time you want, bill will be calculated based on pro-rated figure. Process is, make sure your current line is not tied to any contract, then just go over to the new carrier's counter and tell them you wanna do an MNP. That's all. Do call the bank to update them on your MNP as some banks don't send SMS to non original carrier's phone prefix, if you get what I mean.
