just tested ice cream sandwich and i can say it is perfect.

- the animation is smooth and steady like windows phone
- the looks, the sharpness and the color overall have improved a lot. they are just noticeably prettier than previous android
- it's easy to navigate, unlike previous android. while we are okay with the current android, just try give the phone to your mom and dad (if they havent use android before), and definitely they won't find it easy to use. but this all has changed now. now menus are clear and user will know if there is any submenu or sub sub menu.

i can say android 4.0.1 takes some of the good things in ios and windows phone 7.5 and enhance it to make a better android.

well regarding RRP and when this device will be available in our market,
i cant say the exact info, but i can say it's cheaper than the other samsung phone that just released and it's coming date is just around the corner. however it will be exclusive under telco sad.gif

Heya,

Is it correct to say that the version released to M'sia telco will be 16GB only? No 32GB option

I have a friend who bought the Note and also happen to play with one during the road show. From what I see, only when pinch to zoom in home screen lags, and also when browsing through the files in the note app lags, otherwise most of the time the phone is actually smooth. Also when there are too many background tasks going on the pen will have a slight delay.

Agree with you. And proly due to larger display + reso (not sure if reso is a factor), it's just a tad, just slightly slower overall than the S2. UI wise. Like swiping quickly between, say, app tray screens. etc. From the roadshow/shop units I've meddled around with

Edit : while phantomash is talking bout actual lag, do note the points I mention is NOT lag. Just speed. Different =p

^ A much cleaner, concise, professionally written version of my jumbled up buffet-style writeup in my signature. Exactly my thoughts.

To those who have handled the SGS2 before, how much bigger would you say the Galaxy Nexus is?

To those who have handled the Nexus S before, is the volume rocker of the Galaxy Nexus as easy-to-click as it? I personally feel the one on the Nexus S too easy to click.

Have an S2 and when I played with Nexus, it's just ever so slightly taller, and abit wider iirc.

Negligible difference if you're used to a device the size of s2 imo
