QUOTE(phantomash @ Nov 29 2011, 12:13 AM) I think Harddisk actually preferred that the audio jack is at the bottom? rm28 prepaid with 500mb data unlimited , 100min free call . Me too. But mainly its due to the poor audio quality output of my phone. I'm thinking of switching to U mobile for their 3G too, worth it? if at kl , definitely worth as i see my sis use umobile , fast and cheap . |

QUOTE(akash3656 @ Nov 29 2011, 04:41 PM) Er, guys I know u guys were discussing about Umobile. You were all talking about the RM 28 Prepaid. That one has a 500 MB FUP(cap) right? After that you can still surf, but will be slowed down. I wonder what is the speeds like once u exceed 500 MB? if you are not bound to get phone from umobile , you are not under contract ( should be the same for umobile ) Another thing is Umobile offers RM 28 postpaid plan. To see more, just click the link. http://www.u.com.my/postpaid-packages/new-postpaid-plans Postpaid vs prepaid that I see: 1 GB FUP (cap) vs 500 MB 100 free SMS to Umobile and 200 free SMS to outside Umboile vs 30 free SMS 0 free minutes vs 100 free minutes Higher sms/call rates vs cheaper call/sms rates (on average) I text more than I call, so should be no issue. At the same time, I don't text like mad, so I should be under the 200 free SMS...... And we now got Whatsapp/Viber so yea.... Just wondering, anyone here knows how long is the contract for the postpaid line? I never had a postpaid line, so I wonder how is it like once I make the switch? And what is the process of switching providers like? Is it simple or complicated? like mine , i didnt have any contract with digi even thou i using smart plan 48 . i can change anytime i want . the prepaid has better rate on call /sms ( 500mb ) postpaid have bigger quota . ( 1gb ) , and more costly rate for sms and call up to you to decide. This post has been edited by fcuk90: Nov 29 2011, 04:54 PM |

QUOTE(rayzel @ Nov 30 2011, 06:31 AM) Bro, google block the facebook sync since gingerbread .How about the sync function of contacts from facebook and simcard? any issue coz i googled about it and found several posting about the setback. Did u face the same issue during your trial run? I had used nexus one before and it was a pain when it comes to sync function. I had moved to htc and blackberry because these two do way better than nexus one. Correct me if im wrong. Thanks |

QUOTE(Harddisk @ Dec 1 2011, 11:40 PM) To be precise, Galaxy S with Voodoo Sound kernel. wolfson dac on galaxy s or nexus s . Added on December 1, 2011, 11:42 pm Yeah, I'd rather you list out the cons and have us soon to be owner be prepared for what shortcomings that we don't see from reviews. 1st thing I heard was battery life left much to be desired. Of course, with sync and 3G usage, not just wifi/offline mode. if it can do more than 15hour for 3g data enabled . then i already satisfied. |

QUOTE(phantomash @ Dec 12 2011, 08:50 PM) hmm, I'm not sure about the "supported by AOSP" and "Google/Samsung branded". same phone but , supported by OTA from googles / or OTA from samsung ? Non yakju devices can still flash custom ROM that is built for yakju device, right? Aren't they essentially the same phone? I mean they're not that different unlike the S2 G and non-G version, right? quite a big issue imo. |

QUOTE(lgs @ Dec 14 2011, 01:14 AM) wow, 30 mins before you buy? And u still pay 2899? funding for it ? Yup, I wonder his AP Set warranty from where. Directd selling brandstar AP set for 2399, and other Subang dealers are selling it for 23xx too. if it is from a reputable ap company , then it is a good buy , too bad my wallet not allow for it.
