what are you trying to archive here? do not simply hentam soundproof material just because the price is flex.gif  cheap. Later you will find out it doesnt give any effect due to wrongly rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif  applied at the wrong location.

are u suggesting that by applying neither of material, both didn't have any effect on cabin noise insulation?

i've read from a few other forums about how to do soundproofing using the materials..are they just wasting their time and money?

i thought its suppose to be a chain
and that chain release excess electric...something like grounding
but thats for van and larger vehicles

that's a different thing. dolls is not a conductor, hence only for decoration purpose

QUOTE(AMenzZ @ Jan 8 2012, 12:48 AM)
some car put engine belt alike stuff as well...

that's very different from the doll,
it's longer and should be able to touch the road to transfer the electrostatic
act as an extra grounding cable, but nowadays, it's quite rare.

Those are known as "Earthing Straps".... tongue.gif

In a humid country like Msia, we hv no need for such cos our vehicles wld not be charged nor retain such electrostatic charges like in those temperate/cold "dry" air countries.... whistling.gif

yep, and that is why it is less dangerous to use cellphone at petrol station unlike 4 season country, but still "don't use cellphone while fuelling".

My opinion is the se suspension is plenty stiff without the bars, bodyroll is even less than my old waja.

I will only recommend abl simply because its kinda embarassing for a 50k car without autolock when even viva have it.

Btw, whos up for tt next week, sri petaling or alam damai brj?
