QUOTE(zeone @ Dec 27 2011, 09:50 PM) Yup, tapping into relevant cables shld be no prob. However, error can be made in connections to correct terminals on Timer itself. So if yu can provide a more specific points of connections eg what are the markings/locations on Timer to be used. As in yr earlier diagram, no such info is provided...juz 4 terminals 2b connected. Pls give that info so all who wld like to attempt similar DIY wld not make non-reversal damage to car circuitry. On behalf of all, I TQ in adv. seems very easy. but u need make sure the wire is the correct one. is there any marking/clue on the current wire? and does flx hv the holder for the LED or need to tape it?

based on recent spyshot of blue rock colored saga flx se, i photoshopped the bodykit to body colour and rear lamp to non smoke lamp. my car's color is blue rock, so by adding flx se sport rim and bodykit, it sure is nice blacken the pillar between the doors and remove visor. just need to wait for the parts to be available as 3rd party. does 15inch flx se tyre affect 1.3 fc?

QUOTE(gogoman86 @ Jan 6 2012, 09:03 AM) i feel weird with my FLX 1.3 CVT lately... last few month, my full tank can give me approx. ride of 390KM before the fuel warning light up... but, lately, after fuel up for few time, i able to get around 420KM before the fuel warning light up... and my FC getting lower and lower from 7.3 to 6.6... Added on January 6, 2012, 9:05 ambtw, my total engine run now is around 13,000 KM already that's good. the longer the mileage, the better the engine will perform, plus cvt helps a lot. same happens to my flx after replaced cvt oil pump, fc improve a bit. my mileage only 5k. another thing with cvt + iafm+, on higher rpm, the acceleration quite similar to vtec, even when u release the acceleration pedal and hit it back, the power is still there, no power loss at all.. it's matching the engine rpm i believe.. that's the benefit of cvt.

QUOTE(KennethFoo24 @ Jan 6 2012, 08:40 PM) why you all mileage so high .... i drive until 300km fuel indicator lit up already sorry my bad, confused with fc. LOL. what's ur mileage? and how months have u use the car? mine is 4mths for 5k. gogoman86 must be driving outstation a lot. btw for fc gogoman86 having a great fc. mybe because of his driving style or highway drive. my best so far rm55 for 400km my average for rm50 around 300-350, almost 90% city traffic + stop go + traffic lights + speeding + high rev summore in city almost impossible to get any better for highway highly possible This post has been edited by huzaifa136: Jan 7 2012, 10:45 AM

QUOTE(Vor @ Jan 7 2012, 08:14 PM) Looking at @ericmaxman photo reminds me of a question:- Why are there drivers who attached dolls or teddy bear to torture around under their carriage? i've read that its origin is from Thailand. Esp taxi driver, they hang the doll so that the spirit of those who had died from an accident on the road esp children, will not disturb them. so the doll is like a play thing to the spirit, as believe by them.

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Jan 8 2012, 12:37 AM) i thought its suppose to be a chain and that chain release excess electric...something like grounding but thats for van and larger vehicles that's a different thing. dolls is not a conductor, hence only for decoration purpose QUOTE(AMenzZ @ Jan 8 2012, 12:48 AM) some car put engine belt alike stuff as well... that's very different from the doll, it's longer and should be able to touch the road to transfer the electrostatic act as an extra grounding cable, but nowadays, it's quite rare.

QUOTE(zeone @ Jan 8 2012, 11:28 AM) Those are known as " Earthing Straps".... In a humid country like Msia, we hv no need for such cos our vehicles wld not be charged nor retain such electrostatic charges like in those temperate/cold " dry" air countries.... yup, unlikely. but i've experienced small spark once get out of the car.. after long journey on highway on high speed > 120kmh. i think the weather throughout the journey is a mix of dry and rainy fyi, at that time i drove my father's civic fd This post has been edited by huzaifa136: Jan 8 2012, 06:14 PM
