Wohhooo.... rclxms.gif

Done my 2nd service for my Saga FL ....but this time, price very high this time ...RM323.40.... doh.gif at 1st, just only RM 168 for servicing...then, got this 1 'macha' asked me to recheck alignment since he said need to check every 5,000km ...check², he said 'toe' not balance and front tyre got 'makan' a bit outside...so,they change tyre from rear to front ...after done everything, and see the price like that, what more can I say? Ahaa ..but after that, really satisfied coz my steering respond well ...cornering even more confident ...don't know laa if price like that ( at authorized Proton service center CarWorld jalan klang lama) is expensive .. blush.gif sweat.gif rclxub.gif

Alignment I do outside RM10 per wheel, on-wheel balancing also RM10 per wheel. What's the tyre patching for? Alignment and balancing normally do every 10k km unless you really abuse your ride.

I'm also suspicious about the engine flush thing, though I'm not sure because it has been so long since I do regular maintenance at Proton SC.

tyre patching? forgot what it does... sweat.gif . He did asked me "ada langgar lubang kaa macha?" ,so i assumed i did really abused my car ...all right, got that 10k km....thanks for the info dares thumbup.gif notworthy.gif

engine flush thingy is like, draining all oil out from the engine (based on what that SA told me )...haiya, susah laa ini macam...do servicing at Proton SC also mahal..... doh.gif especially on alignment and balancing purpose....

I'm not an expert or anything, but here's some advice if you're interested. I took a look at the receipt and honestly, a lot of those things are optional.

You don't have to engine flush.
You don't need to buy the screw camber to align your wheels. Your car already has them.
Performing alignment at 5k is unnecessary unless you notice alignment problems yourself.
The amount they charged you for alignment labor as well as the camber is absurd.

I have serviced at Proton SC everytime since I bought my BLM until now. Servicing at Proton SC should never be so expensive unless it is a major service.

On a lighter note, at least the guy apparently did a good job, since you did report your car is feeling much better and have no complaints about your ride after that. So it wasn't all rubb.

I've attached a service schedule with estimated costs. Please bear in mind though, prices have gone up slightly, since this schedule is a bit old.

Feel free to take a look at use it for reference.

just now browse on "New Proton Exora Bold and Transformer Prime" at lowyat's forum...And i really liked this quote...

QUOTE
haha....the NVH rough engine ..like i said...the car doesn't even come with soundproof compare to avanza full soundproof
heavy steering is actually the advantage of proton...or should i say the nature of lotus handling
when u cruise highway..that heavy steering will enable u to drive with 1-2 finger yet car is still so stable
and cornering also very confident
in the other hand...the super soft toyota steering is their weaknesses....when they drive slow or fast also need to hold it tightly with 2 hand..so tight like its going to loss control
if next time u drive european car like merc and BMW...u'll know why...and dnt complain heavy steering at that time

ps: not just toyota, p2 as well cuz they're the same

what are you trying to archive here? do not simply hentam soundproof material just because the price is flex.gif  cheap. Later you will find out it doesnt give any effect due to wrongly rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif  applied at the wrong location.
