Proton SA frm last night called me just now....

FLX SE 1.6 Solid RM49,499, Metallic RM49,899. Suppose to launch next week, his showroom got launch event say he'll call me.

Alignment I do outside RM10 per wheel, on-wheel balancing also RM10 per wheel. What's the tyre patching for? Alignment and balancing normally do every 10k km unless you really abuse your ride.

I'm also suspicious about the engine flush thing, though I'm not sure because it has been so long since I do regular maintenance at Proton SC.

i tot at normal tyre workshop they charge only alignment +- rm20 only...  

I'm not an expert or anything, but here's some advice if you're interested. I took a look at the receipt and honestly, a lot of those things are optional.

You don't have to engine flush.
You don't need to buy the screw camber to align your wheels. Your car already has them.
Performing alignment at 5k is unnecessary unless you notice alignment problems yourself.
The amount they charged you for alignment labor as well as the camber is absurd.

I have serviced at Proton SC everytime since I bought my BLM until now. Servicing at Proton SC should never be so expensive unless it is a major service.

On a lighter note, at least the guy apparently did a good job, since you did report your car is feeling much better and have no complaints about your ride after that. So it wasn't all rubb.

haha....the NVH rough engine ..like i said...the car doesn't even come with soundproof compare to avanza full soundproof
heavy steering is actually the advantage of proton...or should i say the nature of lotus handling
when u cruise highway..that heavy steering will enable u to drive with 1-2 finger yet car is still so stable
and cornering also very confident
in the other hand...the super soft toyota steering is their weaknesses....when they drive slow or fast also need to hold it tightly with 2 hand..so tight like its going to loss control
if next time u drive european car like merc and BMW...u'll know why...and dnt complain heavy steering at that time

ps: not just toyota, p2 as well cuz they're the same

what are you trying to archive here? do not simply hentam soundproof material just because the price is   cheap. Later you will find out it doesnt give any effect due to wrongly     applied at the wrong location.
