That one is CVT la...my dad's 30 years old Datsun 120Y manual GB still intact leh, way more than 200k adi...manual GB can last forever i think... unless you brutally shift gear without pressing clutch at all la...

About that "Krrr" sound, recently these 6 months did that about 10 times adi, mostly happened @ 5th gear, dun know skill problem or something wrong about the clutch or tranny itself... mostly happened during practice short shift...

Can yu pls clarify what that "Timer" is? Wld appreciate if yu can give the part make/model/part #.

ah.u wont get those in market, u need to buy it in bulk amount. i did that lastime and venture it myself for the installation part. i think the one mar5690 intro is good enough.

Yup, tapping into relevant cables shld be no prob.

However, error can be made in connections to correct terminals on Timer itself. So if yu can provide a more specific points of connections eg what are the markings/locations on Timer to be used.
As in yr earlier diagram, no such info is provided...juz 4 terminals 2b connected.

Pls give that info so all who wld like to attempt similar DIY wld not make non-reversal damage to car circuitry.

seems very easy. but u need make sure the wire is the correct one. is there any marking/clue on the current wire? and does flx hv the holder for the LED or need to tape it?

while Melaka is 'McD'...

Time 2share another DIY mod to my trusty 1.3FL Exec Auto.... 

Yup, as previously mentioned in earlier pages, me was waiting for delivery of ordered AMT Power Cushion Buffers for front & rear springs.
Well, they arrived earlier this morning and me straightaway got down to installing them! Haha! 

As they say, pics say a thousand words...so here they are :


Me went for a short spin arnd the block, testing the suspension feel over uneven roads & even humps/bumps!
Wat can I say? Not bad...suspension felt firmer like having stiffer shocks/springs and the ride was more solid overall! 

Feel worthwhile small investment for a better ride...  

ps. Was supplied with Size C for the Front Springs & Size B for the Rear. However need to cut abt 3.5cm from ends of each Buffer for the Rear to get a good fit.

what are you trying to archive here? do not simply hentam soundproof material just because the price is cheap. Later you will find out it doesnt give any effect due to wrongly applied at the wrong location.
