May I know where are the Think Tank Photo bags clearance for v1? Hahaha the modular set is RM 550! sad.gif

Hmm... not really interested with the Katas. Looking at the options I have listed, I prefer more of the Thinktank's followed by Lowepro's. Also read before that people commenting Kata's quality is not up on par with Lowepro's.

Yup, same... but later on find it abit squarish like the TT slingomatic haha!

Still couldn't make up my mind for it, anyone care to share with me your opinion on which to pick?

Im not sure... but if they do have it u should ask your fren just get it because u can get tax return when return to Malaysia. Then u can try fit in your umbrella then decide whether to keep it tongue.gif
Even if u dont wanna use it, just sell it out in brand new with tag condition sure got ppl buy 1.

*DISCLAIMER*
I dont guarantee that the price after tax return will still be cheaper than in Malaysia when it is available rolleyes.gif

today i dropped by hambone check out the ari bag...still not impressed.
if compare with something similar like TT retro 30...i take TT and its cheaper too.
TT got more useful pockets so can store more stuff - ari only got 1 small pocket outside which cannot really fit anything.
internal, TT retro 30 also similar size, only difference is the ari has thicker padding.
everyone knows TT got not much padding, but thats one of the main attractions of TT also...it's softer so can mould to your body better.

same price as whatever techgarage is selling at, since they are the same, RM600+.

imo, the ari is like a RM300 bag that ur paying extra just for ari's signature on it.

Well for the quality ye, I would say it shouldn't cost more than Rm300 provided that its very limited space as well... I just couldn't find any design similar to it... at least the way the strap is.

different strokes for different folks there goes the saying........
different people have different needs, different wants, thats why there are many bags out there, some properly priced, some overly priced, some just wanto to flaunt it.......wouldn't you if you have the means ?

for me, i prefer to go for functionality and usage as my use for the bag are many. i.e. with and without laptop, with and without camera, long haul traveliing, short day trips, etc, etc, thats why i have a few bags for different usage, the other most important factor is the protection for the camera and gears

Nope, the first bag that got me attracted while I'm at HK is the Kata 3N1 Series. It has quick access smile.gif
I mentioned this before. Looks nice alright but after a while of using, the bag got out of shape. What does this mean? Your lenses don't get padded and fitted nicely. Lenses now can move inside the bag. Oh, the one that I hate most is the shoulder strap is now spongeless. rolleyes.gif

This is not a messenger type of bag but a sling type. The longest side of the bag where the pocket is at 16" thereabouts. Should be able to put your umbrella at the side pocket where the tripod goes. It will come out a little.

If you're transporting your expensive gears from one place to another, you will value a good bag that gives good protection and able to carry all your gears in one piece without any incident and in comfort too.
