from a few months ago, malaysia had no more TT distro and anyone takes from SG.
but apart from YL, around pj not many already.

the UD70 u saw was RM399 or somewhere around there?
saw UD10 for RM110 and UD20 for RM150 also.

cos V1 discontinued, replaced by V2.
slight design changes etc, main one if not mistaken is a larger front pocket.

i only saw the UD10 / 20...and a bigger one...UD40 / 60...cant remember which.
then a few of the modular lens and skin bags.
just a very small clearance only, dont recall any backpack.

the only backpack i like from TT is the rotation 360, but think no one has it brand new anymore.
anyway thought u already got a backpack?

why dont just rearrange the dividers?
only backpack i got is a FS300 that im happy enough with.

umm, how many lenses u putting inside?
i'm sure FS400 can fit 1635 lengthwise along the side.
then 70-200 mounted on body.
and some other lens on the other side.

i think once they see the price of D800 also they dont want to sell their D700.
afterall the low light performance good enough already, unless of cos D800 get D3 performance.
then after that ppl will contemplate between getting used D3 or brand new D800 which both probably at same price

think not yet arrive in msia yet.
i'll ask the supplier when i see one this week to collect my lowepro apex 60.

the bags are the same as thinktank retro 10 / 20 / 30 series.
simply going to the website already can see and can read the bag descriptions and what it can fit.
Fits: Pro DSLR with grip and attached zoom lens.
Fits: Pro DSLR with grip and attached 70-200mm f/2.8 zoom lens.
etc etc etc.

today i dropped by hambone check out the ari bag...still not impressed.
if compare with something similar like TT retro 30...i take TT and its cheaper too.
TT got more useful pockets so can store more stuff - ari only got 1 small pocket outside which cannot really fit anything.
internal, TT retro 30 also similar size, only difference is the ari has thicker padding.
everyone knows TT got not much padding, but thats one of the main attractions of TT also...it's softer so can mould to your body better.

same price as whatever techgarage is selling at, since they are the same, RM600+.

imo, the ari is like a RM300 bag that ur paying extra just for ari's signature on it.

both are obviously different lenses.
buy what u need.
do u need wider angle? slightly longer reach? VR? bigger aperture?
if just for sharpness, must as well just go buy 24mm f/1.4G

16-35 is wide but lots of distortion.
btw, got consider the 17-35?

speed racer is very bulky if ur going to use it on the waist.
if ur going to sling it, better just buy retro 10.

UD is confusing bag.
even tho ppl say doesnt look like camera bag, one look at it and ppl will think sure got something expensive in it

modular belt system is the best option or vests.
can also check out newswear products, may look fugly abit but its practical.
