What lens are you guys using as your 'everyday' lens? I've been using a 18-200mm VR for about three years.

i notice quite a few 85mm 1.8d going on the market now, looks like all waiting for the 1.8g.
after they see the price of 1.8g maybe then they regret tongue.gif

But thing to note is, the f/1.8D has 9 blades, f/1.8G only has 7 blades... won't that means the f/1.8D will have better bokeh instead? Smoother.

depends on how the blades are designed and how u shoot.
if u shoot wide open, it doesnt really matter much.
50mm 1.4G vs 1.8G is a good example, 1.4 has 9 while 1.8 has 7.

anyway, 85mm 1.8D is a pretty sharp lens already, unlike the 50mm 1.8D.

Current 18-70mm and 70-300 but only lens with me sad.gif .. camera sold out~ waiting the new camera... LoL

the D90 18-105 kit lens was a fav of mine for traveling.. smile.gif

would have bought the 18-200 if i didnt move to FX.. now of coz is the 24-70...
