On the subject of filters,

would you put UV filters or CPL filters on your wide angle/ street zoom lens, and why?

who do you guys get the B+W filters from? How's the price like?

UV and CPL is different.
UV is more like being a protection filter without adding effect.
But CPL does, such as removes reflection from non metalic subject, increase contrast especially sky and sea.

Get B+W from yannick or mauinson will do.

77mm XS-Pro UV cost Rm260 around

actually that's why i asked if CPL would be more appropriate for wideangle-landscape photos- rather than UV filters
i'm planning to get a UWA so now deciding whether its gonna be a UV or CPL filter icon_question.gif

A CPL will make your images 1-2 stops darker.. they aren't exactly the filter that i would want to have it on the lens at all time.. UV filters are more for protection sake.. unless you prefer to go commando that is

edit: picture spam again.. keke
hope this is clean enough.. do give me your opinions.
