not sure if im posting in the correct thread or section... but i need help and tips and also any info thats related to my question.
I got a flat tv upstairs that connected to astro b.yond. Then we relized we wanted a few new flat tvs downstairs so we bought 2 new ones, one in the living hall and the other in the kitchen. my question is: 1) How can I split/share the astro with the other 2 tvs downstairs using HDMI? What should i use? Whats the name of those equipments? Do i need other special type of cable for the sound and what are their names? 2) Whats the Picture and sound quality? Are they still the same or degrade? 3) Also whats the thing/name i need to use so I can change the astro channel downstairs without having running up and down the stairs when I need to change the channels? (My decoder is located upstairs >.<) 4) Whats the maximum length cable limit since i heard the longer you use the cable when ure splitting it, the less quality picture and sound ull get or even sumtimes...ull get nothing. 5) Where can i get all of those stuffs? Usually how much is it? whats brands should i look for? *Do tell me any tips and info regarding my questions* |

But from my observation at electrical stores, the PQ looks fine. 3) Some IR device. Look back some pages in this thread there's info about it. 4)Not sure about maximum length. But it's better to settle for quality cables if your going longer and cheap cable for short connections. 5)Jalan Pasar, AV Shops. Price varies. I think right now Astro is offering 2nd Byond decoder for free with 50% of subscription fee. Try considering this option. |

Man, i feel so jealous watching Nicklodeon, Animal Planet and Disney Channel programme in Astro Fiesta HD, yet there's no actual HD channel of it, in South East Asia.

Planning to get Astro HD on coming January.
Any good recommendation for LCD/LED/Plasma to enjoy it to the fullest? Budget say RM4-5k. |

hi all,
i've got one question regarding astro re-location & upgrade to b.yond. 1) Do I need to upgrade to b.yond first then after one week ask for re-location to new house? ( cause beyond free re-location, no charge at all right? ) OR 2) Upgrade to b.yond & directly ask Astro install to new House. ( is it possible cause different address ) Or is there other options to do? |
