On monday our X10 will officially become old model replaced by X20.

I think it looks good in chrome but otherwise not that much improved.Still the same lens.
no 24mm,Still OVF (but with info) no EVF. OVF view still partially blocked by lens. New sensor
with better performance is to be expected. Anyone plan to upgrade?

The thing I liked for X20 is the silver color just like the X-E1. Some rumors spec. Seems like not much upgrade. It will be nice if got EVF.

ya the OVF still blocked by lens abit, will mostly still use the LCD.
plus its not so comfortable using the OVF anyway unless u got a very small head

but X20 got focus peaking...but not enough for me to upgrade from X10...
X100s tho is another story...

Yes x10 owners should keep their camera and aim for x100s if funds permit

Use LCD... zzzz OVF the best, faster response, EVF will probably lag a bit

also, due to my background, im being taught to shoot with viewfinder lah, shoot with LCD only unless neccesary

i dont own X10, sorry if i take comment out of context, if you mean X10 OVF being useless then nothing much i can further comment.

But if u talk in general, im sure many would prefer OVF then EVF / even in your text - LCD

Dont get offended with the background thingy, it just mean im being taught that way.

Unless your background taught you to use DSLR to shoot with LCD, else i believe those who use DSLR will use the viewfinder instead of LCD most of the time.

hmm, x10 OVF really useless ah? i thought to get X20 silver to play play tim.

seriously if u got use X10 u will change ur comments.
i got DSLRs, i got m43...all i obviously use EVF / OVF...
but X10...again if u got use X10 u will change ur comments

but just to save u the misery...
X10 OVF is just a over-glorified window.
there is absolutely no info at all, not even focus point info.

that is why the X20 OVF with overlay is good.
