seriously if u got use X10 u will change ur comments.
i got DSLRs, i got m43...all i obviously use EVF / OVF...
but X10...again if u got use X10 u will change ur comments tongue.gif

but just to save u the misery...
X10 OVF is just a over-glorified window.
there is absolutely no info at all, not even focus point info.

that is why the X20 OVF with overlay is good.
*
x20 ovf remains 85% view so pretty much still useless no?
for example who will buy a dslr with 85% ovf biggrin.gif

I do agree with Everdying... OVF is kind of superfluous to me.. Too small and distorting. DSLR is another story though !

Ok. I get it now. Is it because of its limited view in d viewfinder? Hmm... Sorry, I noob, new to this.

limited view is a smaller issue than completely no overlay at all...so u have no idea if ur pic is exposed or even in the right focus area.

Hmm, but x100 ovf also like that. I'm used to test shot first tho. Ic. Need to get used tho. Its like ovf with faster reaction, and no lag, vs evf you get what u see

i dont think u understand what is meant by No Overlay at all.

X100 got option of hybrid, so u can see horizon setting whatever crap, iso, shutter, aperture, focus point, batt info, how to make cake...

lets do a diff scenario that would make more sense.
take your handphone, put a little 0.7cm x 1.0cm clear window on top of it and pretend that is your OVF.
that is how the X10 is like tongue.gif

Yeah !!! That why I bought X10. In fact is not a cheap point and shoot camera. But the design is one of the reason I get it compare to others. Now the X20 with silver/black 2 tone color. It make it looks better.

Although useful and vital especially the meter for manual exposure, still, i dont see much fuss without it. Still can improvise and shoot.

On x10 there is a screen you can select when using the ovf.
It has all the shooting info including the position of the focus point. The screen has black
Background. It may be slower but in bright outdoors when the LCD cannot be seen clearly
The ovf is useful.

Hmm does Fuji have sensor replacement program for x10 Just found out mine is the one with the orb? I have no problem about but would be good if would able to replace the sensor.

Does anyone have 1.03 firmware? Can you send it to me? Do i need 1.03 first before updating to V2? Currently in V1.02

Just came back from HK. Was searching high & low for the shutter release button in Stanley street, managed to only find 1 shop selling, but kinda expensive. And wanted to get some funky straps also but couldn't find one that is affordable. Anyone know where I can get those shutter buttons in msia other than ebay?
