Just curious.. u guys no orb issues kar?

Buying from a trader here. But it's just the camera, nothing else. Add memory card (16GB Class 10) and postage still 2100 also. Hoping to get this week.

I read about the orb problem, pretty severe in some cases. I think it's a flaw in the EXR sensor design itself.

But i have to say 99.99% of the non orb pics taken by X10 made me decided to buy it, and of course, the looks. 

shashinki jjc hood actually kinda expensive at RM98.
go ylcamera its RM65.
actually almost everything shashinki sells is expensive

ya, its not on their site.
i walked into their PJ outlet a few weeks back and saw it there.

and iirc, original x10 hood YL was selling at RM130.
this one also not on their site...so whoever is updating it is probably lazy.

X10 modified sensor has been tested. Initial result indicates orb
issue solved.

All but depends on your luck. Some really bad but some maybe totally OK.

Buy OM-D if you want to invest into more lenses. I got the X10 because i don't want to be poisoned by lenses.

The X100 is more comparable but you're stuck with fixed lens. But then again that may not be a bad thing.

First, we would like to inform you this "white disc" issue would happen with
the digital camera X-10 which having firmware version older than 1.03. We
discovered from our service experiences that the latest firmware version
1.03 is working well to solved the "white disc" issue and satisfied most of
the customers.

However, the level of 'white disc' affect are only varies from sensor to
sensor, even though the latest firmware upgraded. Does your camera's
firmware upgraded to version 1.03? If yes, despite your camera had the
latest firmware but still encountered the "white disc' problem. So, you may send in your camera for fully
inspection to our Customer Communication Center or branches as below from 9a.m. to 6p.m.,
Monday- Friday (except public holiday) tq.

I just sent my camera to Fuji Malaysia yesterday. Expecting to get it back within 2 weeks.

Sent my X10 to  Fuji Glenmarie for sensor change last Thursday and got a
call from them to collect the camera today. Thats fast considering the
3 day weekend. 

I actually sent my X10 for the 3rd time lol. Had some other issues and now they're considering to give me a new one. Should know this week.

In the US fuji gave everyone a new replacement. Hope you get a new X10
After I collect my camera ,I sat at their reception area and tested all the functions.
Lucky I did bcos the flash was jammed half way.and cannot pop up fully.
They repaired it on the spot and saved me a second trip there.
On the new sensor yes no more orbs but as I feared it is not as "crisp" as before.
Maybe the settings not the same so must test somemore. Unlike yours my lens
felt much smoother especially at the on/off area. Can get to f2.0 easily and
no more dust in the lens. When I screw my filter on , the whole lens barrel almost
came off. Had to screw back anticlockwise. If I can turn back time ,I will surely
not bother with the sensor change 

On the issue of AF, on my cam if the focus area is square box always miss but if
focus area is " + " then amost 100% hit.
