it would be nice if x10 can also edit jpg in-camera and not just raw only.

QUOTE(LinTao @ Nov 26 2011, 12:14 AM) Oh at the top? I hope the shop will keep for meĀ slow shutter speed warning.Btw I wanna ask one thing, what's the yellow symbol of a camera with an exclamation mark beside it? And also a !AF symbol that keeps popping up. There are also some cases where when I half click the shutter button for the camera to focus, the screen sort of hangs for half a second instead of showing that it is focusing. Do you face this too? !AF of cos means cannot focus. btw, u can d/l the manual from fuji site. anyway, optech cam strap qd, lowepro apex 60, extra nikon hot shoe cover that i got lying around. ![]() This post has been edited by Everdying: Nov 26 2011, 01:46 AM |

QUOTE(aquos @ Nov 26 2011, 05:02 PM) Tip I found out. If you press menu button from any mode it will go straight to no.ISO so it can be used as a sort of direct button. The Fn button can be assigned other function. I set it to tracking focus. Try and see thats only on a fresh start. once u start going thru the menus, it remembers the last position until u switch it off again. |

QUOTE(aquos @ Nov 26 2011, 06:05 PM) select iso before back. I find this useful. anyway I am mostly on auto iso. Found this tip IS2.on overseas forum. Can I check with you which IS mode you use 1 or 2 ? When I select IS2 the focus square still jump around when shutter is half press and green. IS1 mode focus square always steady. Most users set to IS2. Any harm if leave in mode 1? battery drain and faster wear and tear maybe? For me if the square jump around quite eye strain. Regards dont really need IS1, for video perhaps, but not for pictures. |

QUOTE(naminakata87 @ Dec 10 2011, 07:55 PM) if u currently dont have any existing DSLR system, unless its sony alpha, then get the nex.cos no one wants to build up 2 seperate lens systems, but if sony alpha can be shared. so if u dont intend to invest in and building up a lens collection, then get the x10. |

ya, i got the case, but dont use it.
the brown would look ok if it was a vintage looking lighter brown, but instead its a fugly brown on synthetic leather that makes it look even fuglier. tho if anyone still wants it, i can sell my case to them |

i think the hood also isnt that functional...unless u intend to use for its filter adapters so u can put CPL on etc.
flare wont be such a major concern, plus if it really comes down to shading the lens it can easily be done with ur left hand. and the hood also doesnt really provide much protection, if anything it increases the surface area of the lens so it can be knocked easily and maybe just throw the lens out of alignment should a knock occur. |

QUOTE(aquos @ Dec 25 2011, 04:20 AM) Yes ebay. I got 40-43mm,40-46mm & 40-49mm. rm20 each. only reason why i want 40-52 is so i can use my 52mm CPL again I wont even recommend the 40-49mm ring if you like to use the ovf. It will block 25% at 28mm. 40-52mm will block half the view unless you get those with slots at the back. Good slim filters start at 49mm and I dont use OVF often so i use 40-49mm. WTS : HOYA UV Filter 52mm,62mm,67mm, HOYA 52-62mm step up ring with cap |

imo, a small lens like x10 doesnt need filter.
unless ur extremely careless, chances of scratching the lens is very slim. most ppl who put filters on just want to avoid fingerprints. |

QUOTE(aquos @ Jan 3 2012, 09:03 PM) I am on the side which must have filter but a good one. The x10 lens is quite simply buying a 40mm pinch cap would be better then.exposed and sooner or later the nice hard and slippery aluminium lens cap will hit the lens. With filter you dont have to be too careful and only need lenscap for storage. And yes filter easier to clean than lens. unless its a decent 40mm filter ur putting on, else its just degrading the quality and will produce more flare...orbs anyone? |

i got lowepro apex 60AW.
fits fine, case offers lots of protection which also makes it more bulky. nano VI is also a perfect fit, slimmer but then obviously no padding at all. |
