QUOTE(Everdying @ Jan 6 2013, 11:00 PM) ya the OVF still blocked by lens abit, will mostly still use the LCD. Use LCD... zzzz OVF the best, faster response, EVF will probably lag a bitplus its not so comfortable using the OVF anyway unless u got a very small head but X20 got focus peaking...but not enough for me to upgrade from X10... X100s tho is another story... also, due to my background, im being taught to shoot with viewfinder lah, shoot with LCD only unless neccesary This post has been edited by hidden830726: Jan 8 2013, 12:30 AM |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jan 8 2013, 12:43 AM) i dunno if u got own X10 or not...but sounds like u dont...cos the OVF is useless. i dont own X10, sorry if i take comment out of context, if you mean X10 OVF being useless then nothing much i can further comment.and ur background ah? i also got background But if u talk in general, im sure many would prefer OVF then EVF / even in your text - LCD Dont get offended with the background thingy, it just mean im being taught that way. Unless your background taught you to use DSLR to shoot with LCD, else i believe those who use DSLR will use the viewfinder instead of LCD most of the time. hmm, x10 OVF really useless ah? i thought to get X20 silver to play play tim. Hmm, but x100 ovf also like that. I'm used to test shot first tho. Ic. Need to get used tho. Its like ovf with faster reaction, and no lag, vs evf you get what u see

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jan 8 2013, 11:00 AM) i dont think u understand what is meant by No Overlay at all. hahaX100 got option of hybrid, so u can see horizon setting whatever crap, iso, shutter, aperture, focus point, batt info, how to make cake... lets do a diff scenario that would make more sense. take your handphone, put a little 0.7cm x 1.0cm clear window on top of it and pretend that is your OVF. that is how the X10 is like x100$ |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jan 8 2013, 09:30 PM) but dont tell me using DSLR u dont need all that? Although useful and vital especially the meter for manual exposure, still, i dont see much fuss without it. Still can improvise and shoot.exposure meter? focus point lock? then u shoot, then see LCD and readjust? |

QUOTE(aquos @ Jan 9 2013, 06:35 AM) On x10 there is a screen you can select when using the ovf. yup.. Prefer ovf... Aquos, since u own x100 too, any diff between x100 and x10 ovf?It has all the shooting info including the position of the focus point. The screen has black Background. It may be slower but in bright outdoors when the LCD cannot be seen clearly The ovf is useful. |

QUOTE(kenlui @ Jan 20 2013, 02:30 PM) Just came back from HK. Was searching high & low for the shutter release button in Stanley street, managed to only find 1 shop selling, but kinda expensive. And wanted to get some funky straps also but couldn't find one that is affordable. Anyone know where I can get those shutter buttons in msia other than ebay? try search the forums here. |
