First was the Ace, now the W. Samsung really knows how to pack cheap but good phones, that's why it's so hot.

Ace launched price was similar to W a few months back rite? I wonder if W price will go down fast? Do u think they will reduced the price next month for Christmas Promotion? Its hurt u know when u buy now then within less than a month the price get cheaper..

phone price drops fast...nothing we can do about it...i bought was rm900...now rm859 can find already...but if u really concern about the phone price value then better get htc as their phone price drops very slow & little

/sdcard/Android/data is under your "phone memory". you see, the internal storage of the SGW divided into 2:

1) Phone memory
2) Internal SD (also known as USB) that mount into folder /sdcard

When you plug in an external SD, it will be mount into: /sdcard/external_sd

if after unzip you get "com.galapagossoft.trialx2_gl2", u just cut this folder, and put into

/sdcard/Android/data

Except for ChaCha, launched price above 1k, now can get below rm700, ha..ha...
I need to survey local phone shop for SGW and not rely on big shop like Senq. Maybe can get cheaper price...

If not mistaken, some SGS+ using RFS file system that causes lag as experienced by many owners.

SGW has same spec (but smaller screen which I like), but using EXT4 file system, no longer has lag issue.

ive noticed when i use this w in tethered mode..the net speed damn slow if compare to G5...

anyone facing same problem???

did you turn on WCDMA / 3G mode? If u go on GSM/2G mode it is slower of course

i choose auto..the problem is...when i try G5..the speed is fast...

try fix to WCDMA only rather than auto as auto tends to switch between the two. WCDMA will try to force it to 3G if possible.

according to what i read from the sgs+ thread in here and xda-developer forum.. sgs+ is using ext4, rfs only used in sgs

But SGS+ is not Amoled but Super LCD right?

sgs+ is super amoled with gorilla glass.. internal storage 8Gb compared to 4Gb in sgw.. that's the only different between this two model.. they are having same chipset and gpu

and also different battery capacity (sgs+ has 150 mA more).. and also sgw got camera flash whereas sgs+ doesnt have flash

Just now went and check out the ram usage.

Around 350 ram is available for us to use. But thing is that 170+ was used up even though there wasn't any active applications in the background.

I used the browser to surf 3 websites[desktop version] and it ate 100mb+ already. So total ram available was already almost full

So what was the 170+ ram used up for?
