I am pretty sure you need to remap again your keyboard when using on Mac

That's if you wanted to use the function or media keys on f1 to f12, which isn't really necessary since most of the settings can be done in Mac itself.

So that already set aside the faulty of Keyboard becoz it is ok on W7 but not for Mac.

Cause Mac has scroll lock and num lock on at all time. So no light up.

Yep. All my keyboards don't have them light up.

I'm currently using a Filco Majestouch 2 (MX Blue)

Something is wrong with the number "7" on my keyboard. When pressed it doesn't "click" as much as the other keys. I tried taking out the O-ring but the problem is still the same. Swapped keycap over to that switch also didn't solve the problem.

Should I RMA the keyboard? Who here has experience with Filco RMA?

Not sure how long this issue has been, maybe even from the start because I rarely use the row of numbers below the Function buttons

blue switch have a few common problem like this, Due to more mechanical part compare other part.

Ur Filco is local purchase? if local should be take around 3-4 week depend on supplier.

Rarely use then might be manufactured problem.. faster go RMA

that is normal bro, dun worry i use my ducky with my mba too =) only caps lock will light up , scroll lock and num lock wont light up =) even u use mac-compatible logitech G series keyboard same thing happen too

and for all the FN-keys its work out of the box without driver atleast on my mba =) so just sharing my experience with u. i m new to ducky 9008s too! i just got mine for the 3rd days!!

How many people are using the Ducky or Ducky Shine with Mac? How is the media keys working? Also how are the lights?

Added on January 30, 2012, 7:16 am I m using a Ducky Shine with my Mac.
Current only tested the Volume and it works.
And also only the CAPS lock will light up.
Scroll lock and Num Lock wont light up.
The rest of the lighting works as usual.

By Logic most of keyboard should be look a like.

to add back light to the keys?
but not all keys are able to lit up even the led are installed right?
need to buy new key caps set also.....

not recommended that you mod your 7G, main reason is because of the key layout, you won't be to change Enter Key to Backlight keycap. unless you're going to use back all the old keycaps.(Big Ass Enter Keycap are rare)

So, if you're going to mod it to have backlight, you will need to understand first that you won't be able to fully swap all the keycap on your keyboard.

if vincent5195's 7g are going for it, then post the result after modded,
we all can see the effect..... of course I am most curious to see the effect.....
