hey fellas, I'm thinking of picking up a mech keyboard for my daily use. Been stalking this thread for couple of times.

Last time I posted a question on "Blackwidow Ultimate, why the hating/ignore?" I heard the coming stealth edition is going to be cherry brown, should I get it?

Or are they any Zarmor mech keyboard users around here?

G3000 series is nice to me too but it's the general population which dislike them for the old-school looks.
Even my younger sibling ask why am I using such an old and ugly keyboard and why not use a Razer/Steelseries keyboard.

Gaming keyboard has all the extra keys and a very good software to use them.

Agreed, maybe alot people has never realize, Macro are banned in most gaming tournament (thou i cannot confirm they are banned in MMORPG tournament like WoW, or RO. i mean MMORPG, not MMOFPS )

They are only for convenience for auto buffers as well as doing some repetitive stuff for you, but they are not allowed to use in tournament.

And you have to remember one thing, all we depended on gaming are muscle memory, which you'll respond more faster as you play the game more. Pro gamers uses Muscle Memory, Not Macro.

Let's says you have a keyboard that has alot of extra keys, i mean, Do you actually use them? Every and each keyboard has their own design and key placement, once you get used to it like 1, 2 years, once the product gets discontinue, all your extra key knowledge will be render useless, as Keyboard always has new release and the Macro Key will be always be in different position.

Keyboard Macros are nice only if you use them to do some ridiculous repetitive stuff(something like MMORPG where you play priest applying buff to teammate).

As a reminder always, A macro is to make you more convenient, but they are not dependable.

doesnt anyone mention the magic word - RELIABILITY?
ppl dont want a keyboard that will get stuck while they are trying to do double jumps etc.
ppl want a keyboard that does what its supposed to do, when its supposed to do.
one of the worse keyboards i ever tried, was some cheap generic samsung / everglide one which some CC had.
press a key, and it only detected like 1/2sec later.

reliable != NKRO.

but pros, and u will still find them, have been using good membrane keyboards for years.

i find ctrl weird, unless ur using toggle.
guess thats why most games have crouch as C for default.
everytime i use ctrl, have to bend the pinky to hit it without losing control of W and A

well, i do find CTRL annoying while playing Half-Life, because need to Space+crouch to jump forward really fast after getting the booster backpack. but damnit. I hate cybercafe pc with chinese-input hotkey as CTRL+Space Bar, which renders it to typing chinese mode while completely disable keypress in the game.

That may not necessarily be true. This is Malaysia and our products(normally) are known to be more overpriced.

Therefore, I put by bet on over RM330 RRP.

The possible causes(no offence to anyone ):
1. Dumb buyers - If one is dumb enough to pay higher, I don't think there will be seller dumb enough to reject it.
2. Greedy sellers - A thing is priced at the price the buyer willing to pay.
3. Low population in Malaysia - In China, their things(IT accessories) can be 1-4x cheaper than Malaysia, cause they having super high population.

The phase "Worth or not" doesn't exist in the world of despo ppl.
From the POV of someone who isn't despo, it not really worth it.
