QUOTE(marauderz @ Feb 17 2012, 12:05 AM) Welcome to the other OH MY GOD issue with Windows Phone 7 following USSD support. Yes.. you cannot QUICKLY TEXT a message that isn't listed as a mobile number. But you can do this. - Go to messaging - Hit + to create new message - See the small + beside the TO field? Hit that - It'll bring up the contacts list for you to search - Find the contact with the number that you want and tap on the record - when you're in the record you can see all the numbers listed, tap on the desired number - Send message like normal Begin I guess they figured most ppl only have one mobile. I guess that works but not able to save 2nd hp is really quite troublesome.. this should be an issue worth highlight and solved in the new update.... It makes the otherwise perfect contacts sync... into something with obvious flaw...

They should not be someone new to mobile OS, plus, they also have their own DMBS software, etc. Even in their DB samples/tutorials, they know this... Seriously. If it was the other fruit, then it's still understandable.

I think my Lumia's busted.. Battery life seems to be extremely sucky for me and this on standby. Charged phone to full last night and disconnected from charger at 3am, now my battery status is reading 51%. The only thing it has been used for this morning is the alarm clock.
Firmware: 1600.2483.9107.11501 Location services, wifi, bluetooth all off. Carrier data on. It's linked to hotmail, messenger, gmail and xboxlive.
According to its specs, it's supposed to be able to go on standby in 3G mode for 300+hours. What type of standby time are you guys getting on average?

Yes, this is about right... a smartphone nowadays can barely last 12 hour if you treat it as a smartphone (Data on, light browsing, tweeter, FB, checking email). Mine is about the same, 9 am left charger, warning came around 12am at night..

Agreed. I never turn my 3g on unless I wanna use it. If a smartphone can last a day or a day plus, it's actually quite good already IMO. I'm using the S2.btw

No good for battery, although already have "safety" where it still keep some charge left, but it's better try to prevent shut off too often.

When the phone has been on standby for almost all of the 7 hours? When the screen has been turned off? I mean look at the specs on the webpage http://www.nokia.com/my-en/products/phone/...specifications/

Any apps running? Have u update the battery fix by Nokia for lumia? What type charger did u use? And etc Added on February 17, 2012, 12:04 pmQUOTE(Andy214 @ Feb 17 2012, 11:17 AM) SIFU, try not to let it shut off.
