Currently on low carb, hi protein. Mainly eggs, fish (lotsa salmon, tuna sashimis and grilled saba), canned tuna, cheese, chic breasts (nandos yum!) and protein powders plus supplements. Been on it for almost a month, no weight loss yet but looks leaner.
One thing bad is I'm encountering energy loss on this diet. The endurance is not as good as last time. Maybe I should try pre-workout supplements.
To remedy your energy loss, you can go higher carb on training days. Unless you train everyday, for which you can probably pick 2 days a week for higher carb consumption.
btw guys, how often did you guys squat/deadlift? i currently doing once a week for each, deadlift on my back day, and squat on my leg day. the soreness especially the day after squatting are totally unbearable.
Added on November 23, 2011, 11:00 pmTrying to aim BF to 25% from current 29% in maybe the next 3 months. No decrease in weights as for now.. but I do look leaner. Hopefully can achieve!

Don't do this. DL has found a sweet spot in his diet and training that allows him to make progress. He even said it himself not to follow the way he eats because everyone is different.
And on a side note. Very nearly got killed by the Smith machine today. I won't be using it for a while, needless to say.

Was doing standing calf raises on the smith and missed the hook when I was re-racking the bar. No idea who was using it before me but for some reason they took the safeties off, my fault for not checking as well. So the bar pretty much fell straight down. Just lucky I managed to get my body out from under the path of the bar.

The cynex leg press machine is a good machine to do calf exercises on. Use that instead. From what I remember they don't have a platfor underneath the platform for you to place your legs, so u can go full contraction, the body solid ones have a damn thing there hence I can't do calf exercises there

Yeah, I usually use the leg press machine but decided to switch it up today, and how lucky I was that this would happen.
lol yeah. oh well, good effort though. DL tomorrow still on? you have a knack of arranging workouts well. have not done shoulders and arms this week, planning to do it today but shall postpone!
