it does. but I'm not tall. so when i finish weight that is heavier than bw, I would b hanging in the air. so the initial pull is hard.

Lol, I've never been able to fit into 'slim fit'/skinny pants and all that.

Always had thick legs, even before taking up weight training.

And no, it's not bullcrap, I spend around 5 minutes every morning trying to yank my jeans over my quads. God forbid I need to take a shit during a long day (haven't had that yet, fingers crossed)

Oh. I usually just use momentum to get the bar down and into place for the set.

me too. at least for 10-15kg more than bw I still can use momentum. but once it goes to 20kg or more then I'll b like a monkey trying to pull down a tree trunk.

hmmm lol. how tall are you btw?

i usually use momentum and pull all the way down, as in my body angle would be almost horizontal, then slowly bring the upper body up to the required angle and then start doing the pulldowns. pretty sure ive done this with BW + 20kg and more, but i cant be sure.

but then again im tall enough to let go of the bar at the end of the set and not make a huge noise so this might not be a solution hmm.gif

I can only do 4 on my own and the last 2-3 would suck because I can't lower my body down completely else i won't be able to pull myself up without assist sad.gif

It's not the question of how many you can do. It's his form.

Kevin Frasard is about as beastly as natty dudes go, imo. Also, that vid is a pretty new one, where he's actually in the process of a pre-contest prep.

He can deadlift and squat a lot too, and his form is usually pretty good.
