hi mate. it seems like they are flashing the the stock kernel image thru odin instead of using ktool method. it didn't mentioned any jig here.

its not a a kernel..its a bootloader.. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?1basp4bll56pzx8 ..yes u need odin to flash this thing..after flashing..turn off phone then u connect usb jig to reset binary+YT..

noted mate. so after removing the YT, i should be able to flash other custom kernel and YT wont appear anymore right?will try this on friday, will report back the result. thanks!!

err guys, anyway to revert to old firmware? i have a i9100G with me that has KL3 firmware. benchmark report its proc only runs at 800mhz.

i wan to ask .. if i wan root sgs2 G version can i straight flash the superatmos kernel to get my phone rooted ?

if i using doom root ..but i still wan to install custom rom .. need CWM rite ? and the binary count still will process ?

no need to revert..just root and you will be able to set to max 1200...

hello guys. im having problem with my samsung s2 G version. always have this camera failed and have to batery pull sumtimes like blackberry to restart phone.tried to root using doomlord just like what stated in this forum to replace the camera.ipk file but dunt think could root it because didnt have the superuser icon. any idea how to solve the prob ?

ever tried the other option by flashing the root kernel?

Added on April 23, 2012, 6:07 pmhi mate, i did settled the YT issue. these are the steps i did:

tool: buy a usb jig; its a must

steps: 1. download the old bootloader from dante10 post above
2. by using odin, select the .tar file and set it as PDA.
3. Press start and the phone will reboot after it successfully flashed the bootloader.
4. switch off phone.
5. connect the jig and your phone will automatically detects the device and your flash counter will be 0 again!
6. after reboot phone, no more YT!!! can flash custom kernel thru CWM as i did with non-G version!!

So far I prefer SuperRom and Superatmos kernel. But I went back to stock KL3+Superatmos kernel.

When I was on SuperRom v3, there were plenty of bugs and I was too tired of flashing things here and there ever so often.

You don't happen to use any sort of CPU control apps e.g SetCPU, System Tuner Pro or ROM Toolbox Pro do you? Because if you do then yes SuperROM+superatmos combo = borkage extravaganza. Oh and Juice Defender too... Minus all that you'll be fine...if you're up for another round of reflashing circus.
