BH505...BH108....which one better?

Definitely BH-505, different kind of product, one is STEREO headset (and NFC Ready) and another is just single/mono headset.

Errr, read again, pre-order customers. Later post the pic lah. Retail price for the BH 108 is RM169

Whoever asked, surelah BH 505 better, NFC ready.

Upsilon, no, very clear, BUT it doesnt cover whole screen, left out around 2 mm left & right, 3 mm top & bottom. Top & bottom is non LCD part of screen. That's why the sales man must slowly measure, paste ngam2 in the middle, got air bubble, had to re-paste, lol. The boss said due to curve screen, if cover full, will have bubbles.

For this you want to pay rm60? It just avoid the curve part by not covering it. Better cut your own. One 7" Galaxy tab protector can cut three (3) pieces.

Still not good enough for listening to music to my ears. I think the compression to send by bluetooth and decompression really mangled the sound.

All bh505 are NFC ready as told by the nokia product manager. They never announce to market because back then there wasn't any phone support NFC.

Smartphone global market share in Oct 2011. ios climbs to top spot, Android down to No. 2. WP7 + WinMobile a paltry 0.2% (meaning WP7 may be 0.1% or less). Elop said a new dawn of Nokia. Maybe a new sunset for Nokia for embracing the loser WP7?

If Meego is prematurely announced as dead then WP7 is dying from lack of consumer interest. Who knows maybe Meego may overtake WP7 in market share and give Elop a slap in the face?

Added on November 1, 2011, 10:04 pmYo, Andy! Any comments on why WP7 is facing such consumer resistance? Too many Microsoft haters? No Whatsapp until Mango? Nobody wants Windows on their PC and Windows on their phones? Or the UI just too ugly?

nokia only recently launched the 1st wave of windows phone. so we have to wait at least 6 months to see the effects.

previous microsoft strategy was wrong.
to avoid fragmentation MS imposed strict hardware requirements and do not allow individual manufacturers to customized software and differentiate themselves.

otoh, ms allowed many manufacturers to use windows phone.

this is hybrid iOS and android strategy which is doomed.

ppl like htc/samsung/lg prefer to invest in android so windows phone become like poor cousins.

but now is different, with nokia as their partner, the world can expect both superpowers combine to dominate the mobile world.

don't forget microsoft only achieved blockbuster success with windows 3.1, xbox 2nd generation, etc.
never count the giant from redmond out.

Well, i don't know, I think the os is quite original, neither ios or Android.

They also produce WP7 phones.

Nokia's name is associated with boring, cheap phones. It's image is staid and stodgy. The Nokia name won't attract young trendy people like those who won't be caught driving a Volvo. It's like a marriage between the boring and the hated.

But this is nothing to do with PC business. Their dominance in PC os may work against them as nobody wants smartphones to be dominated by Microsoft.

That's the problem. What for travel all the way just to buy 64GB N9, the traveling cost also almost same as cost of the BH 505 tongue.gif It's not like I very 'gian' the NFC headset

Hiyaaa, sifus, you all know how to change or add the folder or add partition for apps? It keeps saying memory low to install apps when I have 57 GB left

No la...from Melaka to KL the travelling cost probably not exceed your rm60 screen protector while the bh505 is worth rm200.

You can create folders after plugging into PC in mass storage mode and copy files to it. I've not come across this memory low to install apps before. Try rebooting your phone, it probably means RAM not storage space.
