I'm facing the same problem on microsim, took it out from iPhone 4. After restarted the phone prompted the error “No Mobile Network”
Quite frustrated with this new phone. BTW did anyone encounter poor GPS signal? It seem that it can't connect.in indoor althought the A-GPS enabled! This post has been edited by joshuawong: Oct 16 2011, 01:32 AM |

It's actually the old sim card/iPhone 4's simcard that transfered into it.Added on October 16, 2011, 11:53 pm Why are you so excited? Many of us who complain are using original micro sim as well. Just flex it few times so that it look straight and try again lor. This post has been edited by joshuawong: Oct 17 2011, 12:08 AM |

QUOTE(KennyKB @ Oct 17 2011, 04:39 PM) You can bring bugs to Nokia's Meego development team working on the os upgrade here. I've enable both and the GPS seem can't connect. Tested the GPS Meefo, no luck. Searching for satellite for an hour now. :Shttp://konttoristhoughts.blogspot.com/2011...r.html?spref=tw Who knows, it may get the irritating bugs that affect you resolved faster. Added on October 17, 2011, 4:42 pm Get the app Gps meefo from ovi store and use it to get a lock first. Some apps are not very good at getting a lock. How long did you wait? If it is connected to wi-fi or 3G it should be very fast ~15 sec or less. Make sure you have enabled "Mobile data connection" in Settings/Device/GPS and Positioning. |

QUOTE(nebousuke @ Oct 19 2011, 11:31 AM) I am really amazed by how people can conserve their battery up tp 2.5 days. I tried most of the options. Let's talked about this morning. From 7am onwards, I am conencted to skype, facebook chat, google talk and MSNYM(via jabber) and i read some news, check some email and chat with someone here and there, max i give those usage a total 1.5 hours of continuous usage. After that I turned off my connection to chat though the feeds from twitter, fb and AP news are still updating in background (the update interval cannot be set, don;t know how). I also set my other RSS feeds to pull feeds every 3 hours. I turned off Push notification as well. Yet despite all these usage I am not getting 56% of battery left by 11.30am. Have u enable power saving mode? It actually help alot I checked with battery monitor, highest usage is from MeeGo system itself(no other detailed breakdown unfortunately). I had also enable developers mode but I doubt it affects the battery life. So why am I getting such a different battery life than some of the forumers here? |

As all of you know that our Twitter client app on N9 is very basic and we can't share photo with it.
Just to share a way you can have twitpic http://theidealmobile.blogspot.com/2011/10...to-sharing.html The new update PR1.1 for N950 has pic.twitter feature added on the twitter client, hope it will come to us soon. Hope to see N9 to growth! This post has been edited by joshuawong: Oct 21 2011, 12:04 AM |

FYI, the 64GB is worthy to buy despite only black available. The nokia store at Maluri offers 64GB for RM2,088 and free NFC headset worth RM288. That mean 64GB is only RM1,800. RM1 different only compare with 16GB -.-"

QUOTE(KennyKB @ Oct 29 2011, 04:58 PM) Not sure about that. iphone's GPS is very sensitive and very fast even indoors with A-GPS. My old iphone 3GS can get a lock almost instantly indoors but my N9 takes some seconds. Good but not up to iphone standard. GPS locked in couples of seconds? I wonder my N9 got problem ? I've enabled device positioning & mobile data connection also failed for me to lock GPS in indoor. I only able to lock in open air.Added on October 29, 2011, 6:02 pm I agree, apps aren't everything. The UI, integration with social media, ease of getting things done, customizability, screen resolution, camera, etc are also important but a smartphone is only s GPS mart if it has smart apps. Otherwise it has nothing above feature phones. In my opinion apps constitute about 50% of the smartphone experience. The iphone hardware is nothing special but Apple can sell at a premium because of the ios appstore. It remains to be seen what happens to the app development for Meego-Harmattan. This will ultimately determine whether the N9 becomes a mass market product or a niche product for Geeks and N900 nostalgic users. Right now I see some encouraging signs in the Meego community but it is still early days. Who is to say if the 'Holy Grail' of Harmattan, an Android emulator will appear? This will be the "God App" for N9. This post has been edited by joshuawong: Oct 29 2011, 06:46 PM |
