kenanga prs dropping badly

Till now the 1k incentive due for 2017 contribution is still not credited into my account yet.

so guyss...still no news on the 1k yet?

Just want to ask,
1. Government has been changed, so the 1k incentive is still available now?
2. I had contributed 1k to PRS, deducted some changes, it was less than 1k, am I still eligible to get the 1k incentive?

No RM1k incentive so what? Still got Rm3k tax relief. Rather than pay govt extra money, best to pay yourself first.

how do you guys top up? i just topped up RM3000 using PPA online. Net contribution become RM2904.86. Almost RM100 charge ah?? Liddat one ah? i put into CIMB plus asia pac ex-japan.

not sure of others...but for me, I top up in FSM (fundsupermart), at 0% sales charges....

I am still thinking whether which PRS provider should i go to..

what i did is pick 1 of the PRS fund available in FSM then just buy without study much on it (bad example)...
why? 0% sales charge + is very long term investment. dont have to bother too much the performance etc.

I did something very similar, just RSP PRS into cimb principal Asia dynamic fund (ponzi 2.0 prs edition). Surprisingly did quite well. Gonna feed my monthly RSP PRS into kenanga growth prs fund now tho, since Malaysia's dropping recently.

Invest in 2 PRS funds? There are annual charge per fund isnt? Worth ke? I just focus 1 PRS fund..

If no contribution made to that particular PRS fund in a calendar year, no AF of RM 8 will be charged.
You can focus on PRS fund A this year and another PRS fund B next year.

Very subjective question
For me rm8 is worth it for diversification, and since I'll stop contributing to my cimb prs so it'll be one fund charge soon next year (this year ill have to bite the bullet and pay rm8x2)

A) Malaysia: choose the fund with best record
B) Non-Malaysia: choose the fund with best record, although actually only one fund qualifies this category for me, cimb ap ex japan prs fund
