more like, from the few posts back......the allocated budget had been drawn out before the new govt moved in....anyway, will wait for confirmation from some of the other forummers that are waiting for it ....

Just received a call from PPA,
The staff claimed that they received the name list entitlement for RM1K Incentive from fund managers.
While due to change of government, have to wait for new government approval to release the incentive...

considering the incentive was part of prev gov TN50 aspiration
i highly doubt it will see daylight now

The payout of this incentives scheme are usually in Apr and Oct...looks most probably due to the fully utilised allocated budget.....than the change of govt.

My god i still rmb a news published end of last year stated there is still plenty of budget left for incentives...so fast fully utilized ==

when the staff call me, she din mentioned about fully utilized, but to wait for new government order to release the incentive....

Just an update on my own post. As at today the incentive still not shown in my prs account.

I bought in Nov last year and yet to receive the incentive.
I dont think the new government would cancel this kind of incentives as they are for the good of the rakyat. Whats bad in there on saving for retirement.
Even PNB Adam 50 is still ongoing after the change of gov.

Lets just hope, i will still continue saving 3k this year as the income tax rebate is still on for this year.

Agree. So far the new govt is very ethical. I'd be very surprised if they axe this good initiative

Hi all, newbie here to PRS. I googled up a bit and notice gov will contribute RM1000 to match your Minimum Contribution of RM1000 of PRS.

Is this still happening now? And also only for 1st year or every year?

It is only for once during the qualifying period....not every year....
Read back the few post or pages back......seems like the is a delay or payment......with unconfirmed reasons

Yes happening. But people are late getting their. Not sure of it's because change in government or budget allocated for it have been used up.

One time payment as long as you fulfilled the criteria
1) buy RM1000 worth of funds
2) less than 30 years old

I keep topping up CIMB Asia Pacific PRS only.

how about you all ? any good PRS fund from other fund house ?

Stick to one only. No need to buy so many. Max RM3000 per year.

Change of gomen, the rm3k tax relief still still be happening or not hor? Since gomen high hutang now...

I have 2 so far. plan to keep 2-3 prs funds.

I don't know about current performance. But back then I bought affin hwang PRS growth. It was performing quite badly, until I researched and found out cimb Asia pac ex Japan. Now I see both my earning percentage is the same.

yes I have this CIMB prs and Kenanga prs as well. both are my favourites. every mth I will top up CIMB prs.
