try getting a clear screen protector, spray a bit of rain x on a cloth, and wipe thoroughly. u get the oleophobic effect. doesnt last long though about 24-48 hours. maybe must try use a different type of wax solution that stays on plastic better. i used a cheap 10 bucks screen protector to try, and works like a charm like an expensive sgp oleophobic

i looking for 2000ma original battery from samsung.. i go to ebay and i look most of the seller are from korea..i done the payment but my payment got refunded because the seller said the back case of the phone is different for international model.. the one that thier sell is for korean version sgs 2..

Korean version quite different because they got NFC while the international version don't have :-)

That what's called marketing strategy. Nexus Prime advantage is the first one release with Ice Cream firmware. Ppl will buy because it's the latest firmware. Then 3 - 6 months later Samsung will release its flagship and that is SGS3 with much better spec like quad-core + Ice Cream + NFC. Again ppl will buy because the spec is much superior than Nexus Prime
In the end Samsung profit because ppl buy continuously both Nexus and SGS3.
It's the same cycle with SGSII and Nexus S :-))

anyway...i need guide to remove my old screen protector and paste the new screen protector though...

remove just use one of the sticky tapes if you plan to reuse it, if not just pull it out, how to apply i;'m sure the booklet got teach

anyhow i still believe that nexus prime will use exynos processor and screen resolution with 1280x720. dilemma though, too much temptation from those new phones (please neglect ipo®n ), duno my wallet can resist for how long

Hmm... last night batt drain frm 79% to 70%(abt 10 hrs),there were 3 wakelocks and 2 of them were super long. I couldnt tell what apps were draining,as only activitymanager-launch and alarmmanager as wakelocks. at the processes page,only suspend and events/0

any idea what they are? They're pissing me off data was off,wifi off, no apps running in background too.

How long were the suspend and events0 time?

Edit: You posted the pictures. Suspend & event 0 is i think the cause. Your device is unable to go to sleep. Some app is keeping your device from sleeping

the only downside about buy sgs2 not is worried to get the 9100g one

Prime of cos slightly better spec and ICS. But remember it will be more expensive also. So depends on your pocket also.

If you want to buy SGS2, just check la if it is 9100g or normal 9100 before you purchase. If you like flashing rom, maybe ICS will also come to SGS2. Official ICS for SGS2 i think can only dream at the moment.

was looking at what gallery detected on my phone and noticed a few videos which I was sure i had never seen or downloaded before... took me a while before i finally found them -- did not know how to find the file path from gallery, so had to check out all the folders using file manager.

traced it to a folder called tapjoy. checked out the tapjoy website coz i dun recall installing any apps called tapjoy... it's a company doing ads. one of the clients is GLU. hmmm...

i'm a bit annoyed coz there were about 4-6 videos and each were about 1-2mb. so those who were watching their bandwidth would have been caught off-guard.

anyway, i dun have glu games... so i'm wondering which other company is using this tapjoy... sure going to watch and maybe blacklist it.

specs is one thing la... sometimes good specs dun translate into good end result

as for sgs2 and getting the G version... ask yourself... if you go test the G and non G version, would you be able to feel the difference? but if you're planning to mod and get support for ROMS, then ya... have to wait and see what happens. but for casual users... i dun see how the G or non-G will make any difference.

of course you can choose to wait... by then... your choices would be something like sgs3 vs some other new models.... and you'll ask for opinion in a diff thread... and maybe wait... till sgs4 vs sth else... and then ask again... and then wait... *you get my point*
