QUOTE(chemistry @ Nov 25 2011, 02:14 AM) Guys, Is it feasible/legal to charge an amount to Paypal using M2Amex and then withdraw funds from Paypal? by this way, if the trxn is posted on a weekend we would be able to earn 5% from this in-and-out trxn. I'm not sure if you can even deposit an amount into Paypal from your Credit Card in the first place? AFAIK linked credit cards are only used when you buy something online via Paypal payment, where Paypal will act as the middle man to forward the charge to your credit card (with fees of course). To actually get funds into your Paypal account there's only 2 ways - 1. Transfer from your own Bank Account 2. Sent from another Paypal user, either personal transfer or bought something from you online via Paypal.

2.9% of total amount sent plus $0.30 per transaction (the sender decides who pays this fee).
Outside the US
Small fee of 0.5% to 2% (depends on destination) when fully funded with bank account or PayPal balance. 3.4% to 3.9% if paying with a credit or debit card. But it is worthwhile as 5% rebate already more than enough to cover the fees and u earned 5x pts somemore This post has been edited by celaw: Nov 25 2011, 01:47 PM

QUOTE(tifosi @ Nov 25 2011, 10:06 AM) The Starbucks 10% offer I got is from April this year where I didn't use the card for the first 2 weeks after obtaining it. They sent a postcard saying that if I use RM 50 and above within X number of days, I will get the voucher. This is like 6 months ago Oh, so that's the one ? My mom received the same card too and i just remembered about this offer a few days ago. Told my mom i will help her to write in and file a complaint. Well, will wait for a few more days then QUOTE(tifosi @ Nov 25 2011, 10:06 AM) Check the exchange rate different. You may lose the exchange rate conversion cause Paypal gives pretty low conversion rate from USD back to MYR. The rate I usually get is 0.1 lower than what they advertised on XE.com. MBB2 rate is even lower

Getting Started

I noticed Maybank has revised the design of the Maybankard 2 Platinum slightly when my gf received her cards.
The writing 'Platinum' on top right for both cards are now in capital letters.
