Why can't use paypal with AMEX to pay for Groupon?

It doesn't accept RM, only USD (so far I have tried). smile.gif

thanks for the info.. will need to rethink since there is no free waiver for annual or GST..  sad.gif

there is NO annual fee for MBB2 cards and only RM50 GST for the companion Mastercard (GST for Amex is auto-waived). If RM50 a year is so difficult to cough up, please continue using cash or debit cards.

How do you change to USD? If we were to use this tactic, wouldn't it will be more costly considering the conversion rate?

I will do that during weekend via PayPal and I can get 5% rebate plus 5xTP.
I think that's more worth than using VISA. smile.gif

2.5% I heard for AmEx.
But if you do it during weekend, I think it is still worth for it.
I'm pretty bad when it comes to calculation, good luck! icon_rolleyes.gif

Wait for your paper statement and pay the amount stated in it. With time you'll understand the M2U "Pay Now" and "Outstanding Balance".

I already settled full amount before statement date, can i receive cash rebate from them? eg. they credit back the rebate amount to me?

They'll still rebate to you. Don't worry.

If you have any current outstanding during the cash rebate is being credited in, it'll be appear as negative I guess.

the over payment amount would be use for your future purchases.
if no purchase made till the next statement, you'll see statement balance with negative amount (bank owe you)

Nay, now must hit RM30,000. I tried too, but the branch staff straight away said the system won't accept such application. Nothing about degree holder or what. cry.gif
