Prior to BNM ruling, one could still get a CC from MBB when they earn less than RM24K.

I didn't realize that, I thought it has always been 30k pa for Maybank credit cards. Thanks for taking time to explain smile.gif

BTW, I get my  SCB credit card centre SMS alert notification for every transaction  above RM 500 usage but not for  MBB.

You can actually set the sms alert notification for SCB from their online banking system. I set SMS and email notification for mine, amount above RM100.

How to do the setting?

Just now I went to Standard Chartered Bank online banking system---> log in my account---> click SMS banking ---> click Alert settings...still could not find the location to amend the SMS alert setting to RM 100.

Mind enlighten? Thank a lot!

Hey guys, I'm wondering does MBB accept applications from fresh grads with 5 months pay slip ? My salary does fulfill the requirements but I only have been working for 5 months.

Also, I get my payslip via email in PDF format, should I get a company chop on it or smth prior to applying ?

And, does anyone know if the MBB Centre in 1U and KLCC is open on weekends and public holidays (Coming Monday)

Thanks guys !

Why not? As long as you fulfill the requirements, then should be no issue. smile.gif

I got my CIMB DA during my 4th month employment by putting in 3 months latest salary.

i have never get company chop for my payslip.
i only print out the payslip, then fax to them. also i have to send them the bank statement, which shows the exact value stated in the payslip.

if they approve you hire purchase, they should have all the information about your financial status. The person in charge of handling your hire purchase might leak all the info to his/her best friend in credit card department. that why you receive surprise card from maybank

hi guys,

just a quick question here. i have got the 2 cards with 2 supplementary cards as well. then only i found out that i have to pay the gov tax for both the supplementary cards (amex & master). the single gov tax is only for principal holder.

just wonder if it's possible to cancel one of the supplementary cards and keep only 1?

thanks
