It depends.
Sometimes Maybank will reject straight away, sometimes it allows 10% overlimit.
And FYI, Maybank does not charge overlimit fee. (SCB charges 5%)

just FYI. submitted application form walk in, same day email pay slip. after 5 working days, received SMS application successful. then i proceed to contact the lady i applied the card to submit for BT which i already signed when applied for CC.

Er, why do you want to spend on something which your card can't afford?
Clear your first installment first, or get something within your CL.

This situation is actually quite easy to solve. Reduce the limit of your Ikhwan card and you'll be able to increase your M2 limit.

u can, actually, pay before due date, to increase ur cl back.

u can even swipe rm3k, then open m2u via smartphone/laptop/tablet, and pay immediately the money

while for amex, ANYTHING on weekend will get 5%, not just petrol, plus the 5x points.

me myself, i usually redeem on-the-spot for better rates, and redeem dining + shopping voucher (nandos, kenny, kfc/pizza, carrefour, parkson, sogo) ~

What for ?? If Digi allows 35 sen charge to CC, I don't mind swiping my CC.

Probably Jusco vouchers, since there's no expiry and you can always find something to buy in the supermarket, or just use as gifts.
