If order from amazon use my American express then want to get the 5X points need weekend right. I heard that the process will slow then become register money din get the 5% rebate and 5X point.

So if i order on 12am Sat will surely get my 5% cash back n 5X pts right?

To be safe, do it only on Saturday evening. Anyway, Amazon will only bill your credit card when your order is ready to be shipped. So even if you place your order on Saturday evening, you may not be billed until a few days later and there goes your 5% weekend cash rebate + 5xTP.
You can't expect them to reply your queries right away. They do get a lot of emails everyday.

Anyway, i've written to them many times and they always replied me. Sometimes it took 2 days and sometimes a bit longer.

y saturday evening? like dat already late more than 12 hrs.

If i do thew first minute of sat means 12.00 cun cun then only go sleep will surely get through right? cos usually if slow oso still got 2 days for them process

5xTP is still not enough to cover the loss in exchange rate. So what's the point ?
Brochure is written black and white while CS is just telling you through his/her mouth. When something goes wrong, the judge will refer to the brochure  nod.gif

Hi miles and more,

thnx for the advice. So wat is the best way to save when want to buy from amazon? because if use the mastercard will still lose to exchange rate and get 1X pts only sad.gif

Amazon can use PayPal right? Just link AmEx to PayPal and use it during weekends. That's my suggestion la. biggrin.gif

I have never tried buying on weekdays before. tongue.gif

Hi fruitie,

Im new to this credit card thing so hope you can help me out patiently tongue.gif

How would linking my Amex to paypal make it cheaper? Even if I link to paypal, I still have to convert my ringgit to paypal and then paypal to amazon right? So i doing double work and probably double charge by paypal side and amex side.

Also have to lose to paypal charges?

OK then ... up to you since you are still considering AMEX for overseas online use.

Maybank does not reveal their forex rate for their cc. You can go to their website but that's the general forex info. And forex rates fluctuates within the day.

Not i still considering but is the only card i have and Im new at this thing so many thing i dunno. Is my only option right? cos i wont be go US working or wat

Like u say the exchange rate for MC is lower but i need check and compare. If u say lower maybe u know the comparison? Cos i dunno how much difference they r
