Just now I received a call from Maybank saying that I have been selected to get the Maybankard 2 Gold card, and was aasking for some of my informations. The call is from 03-5885 5100. Is this promotion valid?

I doubt so.....Most probably its just credit card agent trying to fish customers by doing cold call..

Yes, it depends if you spend at Parkson, Harvey, Guardian, Metrojaya?, etc.
To me, I don't spend at those places, hence those vouchers are useless to me.

I was offered over the phone as well and I wasn't required to send in any information or document, not even my payslip.
What they verified was just my card delivery address.

My Maybank 2 Kard even better, just appear out of no where and ask me to go collect card.

I dont think this one applies to Maybank Amex..

Other than getting the contact addresses (including which Maybank branch I can go to collect the card), the lady is also asking for verification on my identity (e.g my IC No.) to check if I am the person who is selected. She gave me the email address (under @maybank.com.my) for me to send the IC No.

The only free thing Maybank will give is 10K TP for offset the GST (if they offered to u). Else just nothing free except u dont need to personally go apply for one.
