Actually Parkson voucher is valid for 1 year. Jusco has no expiry.

Anyway, I found that Metrojaya voucher and Robinsons voucher is RM50 for 9000 TP.

Hushpuppies voucher Lagi lesser. 8500TP if not mistaken. But I still thinking to redeem my soon to be 10k TP with the GST at the end of month. Though higher TP for same rm50 value, but with GST I no need incurred more expenses as oppose to voucher. Coz I seldom shop for needs with those outlet that give rm50 with > 10k TP.

For me department store vouchers are better since got more choice of goods to buy. Hush Puppies is much more limited selection, unless you have something specific to get from that brand.

Redeem TP for GST also good idea.

No CID is not the first 4 digits of the card. It is a 4-digit number on the front of the card, usually the right side of it.

ok. lets say the no in front of my amex is "1234 567890 ABCDE". if im paying via phone, should i read out "1234"? or its just "567890 ABCDE"?

The 4-digit CID is not within the 15-digit AMEX card number. It is usually on top of the card number with smaller font size.

You can get few pcs of security sticker from your banker, the bank use it to seal and protect the savings passbook signatures.
Seal the whole piece at the signature side then black off the 3 digit numbers, then cut to size another sticker to seal the front side 4 digit numbers.
This sticker stick on paper permanently, there is no way to remove it. If stick on CC plastic surface, it can be peel off but not as easy as normal adhesive cellophane tape.
Well, you being a seasoned member in CC thread, I have no doubt at all that you would definitely have taken such precautionary measures.  biggrin.gif

The front one is usually for AMEX. So far, the back 3-digit has no usage.

Bro, u should try to utilise ur AMEX to the fullest with TOMEI. I been and purchased some gold for investment with wan chan and poh kong. Wan Chan not accept AMEX but visa & master will charge me 3%. Poh kong is the worst, no promotion at all and expected me to purchase from them. But TOMEI still the best since 10 years ago until today. Yup, they accept MBB2 Amex with 0 percent installement even i only buy rm2k. Even TOMEI workmanship charges is the lowest among wan chan and poh kong. I will continue invest my money with TOMEI.

Bro, that is why i stated some outlet give me 5 days some other outlet give me 7 days. I suspected the Parkson staff simply chop the date in. I got frustrated with Lion parkson redi. Thats why i'm hardcore to Jusco. more deal more vibrant.

still acceptable to me but not the bidding session. i usually redeem my household wares there. great deal and far far cheaper than outside. there is once that an outlet offered a LED TV 50" for only rm1999 which equivalent to 400k TP and i think is samsung brand. but i am not keen to it. too many display unit sell as new unit nowaday.

You should demand they change the voucher immediately (if you don't intend to use immediately)
I got a free gift when the CS staff chop the wrong date (7-day expiry instead of 1-year expiry)

I change Parkson voucher when about to use at the time of redemption... brows.gif icon_idea.gif

Portable wireless cc terminal using mobile sim card has been around for the past 3 or 4 years. It uses GPRS to connect the transactions. It's rare because monthly rental is expensive + sim card monthly charges. But it is the must have for businesses conducted out-of-shop or in a roadshow. Sometimes roadshow merchants 'tumpang' or sharing mobile terminal, so you will end up paying to abc but your cc statement shows xyz is the recipient.
