I'm very disappointed with Maybank right now. I've applied the credit card in their branches and after 2 weeks call the HQ and ask about it they say they never receive any application.
I called back then branch and they say they submitted. What the hell is wrong with their process? |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Jan 7 2012, 05:14 PM) OMG! No wonder they are so good to offer 5xTP for all overseas transactions for MBB VI. Got us all happy for nothing. I am so keen to get this card (long shot but definitely in my to-get list) for better or for worse (and as a teaser), based on data points so far.. you might as well apply the MBB VIMore recent data points (oct 2011 - Jan 2012) needed especially for MBB Visa Plat (the one with 2x for foreign transactions). No datapoints for MBB WMC yet as well and all my MC data points now are from jchong. This post has been edited by zenquix: Jan 11 2012, 11:49 PM |

Either they lost your application form, the postman lost it or it's still somewhere and hasn't reached the credit card department yet. But since it's been two weeks, most likely your application form is lost. As for who actually is responsible ? Well, it's kinda hard to say.I called back then branch and they say they submitted. What the hell is wrong with their process? QUOTE(zenquix @ Jan 11 2012, 09:08 PM) Thanks Miles. very insightful. Too bad i'm still not qualified for this MBB VI. Someday... definitely someday This post has been edited by MilesAndMore: Jan 11 2012, 11:38 PM |

Too bad Update on MBB VI overseas transactions - 1. I called CS and was told there are no fees aasociated with overseas transacations, I told her I know there are admin fees imposed and it is stated 2.5% behind the monthly statement. After checking she called me back to inform once again there is no overseas charges for transactions. She claimed she has checked with the relevant department and even with Visa International 2. A reader at my blog pointed out to me that MBB VI T&C (that came with the MBB VI welcome kit) stated Admin Fee at 1%. And, after checking it, it is indeed stated that the Admin fee is 1% under Clause 13. And from two of my transactions which I have previously posted in regards to overseas transactions with my MBB Visa Infinite, the overseas admin fee works out to be approximately 1.25% and with MBB VI 5X TP, it is still very worthwhile. Anyway, it is great that zenquix is generating a comparison between various credit cards with the data provided from you guys This post has been edited by Gen-X: Jan 12 2012, 06:20 AM |

In this case recommended to reapply lar...coz like miles and more said, it may be lost. My guess is they misplace your application somewhere already....I called back then branch and they say they submitted. What the hell is wrong with their process? It's better that you fax the form to the card centre.

QUOTE(kwokwah @ Jan 13 2012, 04:29 PM) Hey guys , How do you make use of the Complimentary Platinum Parking as advertised by maybank at 1 Utama? You'll have to insert your Platinum card into the machine to lift the bar, if its a Maybank platinum or premium card it will just open without charging you, else it'll spit out a receipt for other cards. There's very little parking spaces in there though. |

It works with the Maybankard 2 AMEX Platiunm also, right ?There's very little parking spaces in there though. The Platinum parking is not covered, right ? |

5x points and 5% cash back are just for amex card right?
Mastercard just nothing? Btw, Where can i pay bill online using cc especially tnb? My bill monthly is about rm1000 plus per month for tnb only. So that i can cap my cashback as well as at least 5k points for just paying tnb bill |
