I want to ask, I had register the visa electron in public bank website so now I login and see the amount but I still cannot use it to transfer funds. (I think that one need to go to the branch to apply for that so that they will enable the function for me to transfer fund right?)
Now I also want to ask, is that my visa electron number = account number?
So if I give to ppl the number(Not include the last 3 digit and expire date) it should be safe right?
Ppl able to transfer fund directly into my visa electron by this account number?

I too have the the same problem when i 1st received my card (PB Esso)
But after i have changed the pin and did tied up another saving account to the internet banking, I can transfer the funds from the debit card.
Maybe you should try to change your PIN 1st? good luck

where got pin?

The pin will mail to you seperately.... or you can obtain it by going to the branch that you apply the card.

Hi everyone, want to ask you all.

Is it possible switch from my CIMB saving account, Basic Saving Account 1 (with unlimited cash withdraw and Annual fee RM8 per year) to saving account without annual fee (Basic Saving Account 2). This is because I less cash withdraw 6 times per month. So there is no point I every year charge annual fee RM8 per year.

If can, how should I do? 

My suggestion to open BSA2 at another CIMB branch... then close the old BSA1

Lol.. create new account?    There is no point as I open new account for BSA2 as most of my client will bank in directly to my that account num. A bit annoying need to go CIMB branches and beratur at counter there to open new account. And also need to inform client 1 by 1 to let them know my account num has been changed~

why don't you call up your acc holding branch and ask whether can convert
alternatively, call up their cs should do as well

Is it true that debit card doesn't have any charge back protection? I'm worried, particularly for unauthorized online purchases.

If let's say my debit card (bank account) only got $50, someone try to swipe it for $80, will the transaction fail or I owe the bank $30?

did u add your card to your pb online banking? consult any branch if u havent
