I want to ask you all, my Public Bank Visa Electron going to expire in October 2012. Will they going to send me a new one automatically or I have to go there to make request for renew?

How to do the verify by visa for Public Visa Electron?
I register the account in pbb website but cannot find the verify by visa option. Anyone know how to do it?

But when I buy thing in Amazon, it only sms me to inform that there is a purchase at there, with the amount and ask me call PBB if I didn't use the card to make purchase at that time. It not send any code for me to verify when doing payment.

nope, I just add my debit card inside. When make payment, no more verify code from handphone or email.
After payment made, 1 sms go to my handphone to inform me that the payment had done.
That all.
So it is very danger that if someone know my debit card number, it can use to direct make payment. I only can know when sms come to me then I have to quickly call bank if this happen.
That why I want to put the verify by visa.
Last time I know got this option one and I had done it. Now recently it just renew my Visa electron, so I try to find the verify by visa but it link me to public bank website to register the card. Then I can't find the verify by visa.
No more other option? If not wrong suppose when make payment, at least should send a code to my handphone so that I can type in the code to confirm the payment but now I don't have that.

so amazon also don't have this right?
When we go in those website, if they got requesting code, it will show verify by visa logo in btm or right side right?

I want to ask, I had register the visa electron in public bank website so now I login and see the amount but I still cannot use it to transfer funds. (I think that one need to go to the branch to apply for that so that they will enable the function for me to transfer fund right?)
Now I also want to ask, is that my visa electron number = account number?
So if I give to ppl the number(Not include the last 3 digit and expire date) it should be safe right?
Ppl able to transfer fund directly into my visa electron by this account number?

But My visa electron is renew one woh.
Last time I got 1, then this year expire it auto send me a new one.
Then I want to do verify by visa so I register the card in PBB website but in the end I can't verify by visa anymore.
Then the pin should be the old one right? I don't think they gonna send a new pin to me.
I can login website to see my card's balance but when I click transfer or other function, it show that I need to go to the branch to activate it.

I want to ask you all, the pin number for old visa electron, after the card expire, they issue a new one to me. Is it same pin as old? (cos old card and this renew card is same number except last 3 digi only) Do I need to go to bank to reset the pin or I can directly using old pin?

Actually when they send me the new card, I had try already, I can buy thing from amazon.
(Same as previous card) I just update it to latest last 3 number. Then that day when they send a new card, it state there will be another mail for pin but I not receive it after a few week. I think I have to go check whether the old pin can work or not.
For amazon part, when I receive new card, I just have to update the expire date cos all the number is same and it not require the last 3 digit at all.

I want to ask my card gonna expire on 10/21.
Most of the time when you all received a new card?
Early 2 month? 1month?
Is it normal that until now left only 1 and half month I still not received the new card?
After Oct 2021, I can't use the card anymore if they not deliver it on time to me.

Public bank. Visa Electron.
I remember last time they mail the card to my address but I forget what time it come.
If I not wrong, it should be quite early (maybe 2 month earlier or 1 month earlier before the current card expire) but now my card expire on Oct 2021 now already mid of Sep and the card still not come.

They should at least email to customer know that they had change it.
Last time they mail the card to me.

One more thing, actually Visa electron also is not credit card, but most of the function and they treat it like credit card rather than normal ATM/debit card.

That why those credit card will always mail the card to owner and last time they mail the visa electron to my address.

Like that all my payment that link to card have to relink again with new number?
Last time they always give the new card with same number, only the back 3 digit is different, front all number are same.
Now covid time they still want ppl go to branch, so danger.

Their branch always got a few staff get covid from time to time.

I want ask is that topup touch n go ewallet funds by using Visa electron card consider as swipe the card?
There is deduction of annual fee if swipe certain amount of time per year so I want to know if I topup by card is consider as swipe or not.
