800mbps is nth to this beast

you have to disable fastpath and route cache in the IP Settings also. Also bridge setting set to use IP Firewall.

Hi all,
My router and modem place at first floor. Wifi signal for First floor is good for both 2.4G and 5G. Ground floor is cover by 2.4G but 5G signal is not good at some area.
I plan to buy an access point to put at ground floor to cover up. Please recommend me an access point.
My current setup as below:

Get an ubiquiti unifi AP AC (Lite/Pro). but make sure you have a POE switch or injector because this device only can be powered by POE

if possible, after reset remove default rules.
Im using cheap mikrotik hap AC2, handle 800mpbs perfectly with very low cpu and ram usage.

Yes, i got a freebie 5Ghz WIFI router from TM. I need to think again because the place i want to AP don't have power socket.

most 256mb.

unfortunately. mine 126mb.
but still, no complain so far.

ram usage is still very low. CPU usage is always stable and low.

if u willing to spend ,

you can try asus mesh wifi,
seamlessly stay connected everywhere.
basically it eliminated the hassle to switch between AP.
