Has anyone tried 6.0rc5? I"m getting much better wifi performance with it on an RB751G-2HnD than 5.21 on an RB751U-2HnD. Previously I could not stream movies from Plex Media Server to my iPhone. Now it's OK. Router is downstairs, front of the house to room upstairs at the back of the house. about 50ft.

With internal antennas.

I need help guys, I just now reset configuration with tick option on Do not Save backup on RB751G-2HnD, after it reboot it cant detect usb port. How can I solve it?

I intend to buy this http://routerboard.com/RB751G-2HnD to use it on my Huawei E372, E398 or MF680. I dun have Fibre in my area yet.

Do you guys think i can get good speed on it as a lower cost TP LINK MR3420 too can do the job of getting good speed but lacks the "freedom" even on OpenWRT FW.

Those who have used this before. i need your valuable feedback.

I need your expert advice since your views is so easily understandable.

I intend to use the RB751G-2HnD ( intends to buy ) for 3G USB dial-in then LAN out to a DDWRT flashed Router ( DLink 615 )

My questions

1) Will the dial in be hassel free ( easy setup ) and can i get highspeed ( i tried using a TP Link TD-W8968 to dial in but the speed sucks( Max=1.5Mbps ) ) I am currently using TP Link MR3420 V2 to dial in and its fast can touch 10Mbps at times.

2) When my area is UniFi enabled, can i Load Balance UniFi and Maxis Broadband to make the connection faster and more stable ( Like CONNECTIFY DISPATCH ) ?

3) Will LAN-ing out to the DDWRT Dlink be a waste as RB751G-2HnD could handle the job of stability and DNS Forwarding too.

I believe the YES would work. There is another forumer (cloud computers or something like that) that sells Mikrotik stuff. I believe one of his post wrote that the mikrotik is compatible with YES and also P1. I have not tested it, but I am sure if you message him, he will let you know.

I have a MikroTik RB751U-2HnD with RouterOS v5.26 and it works great with Huawei E398.

I am using RB951-2Hnd, supported as well

what firmware u running on your RB ?

I use below console command, "Unifi PPPoE" is my pppoe dialer interface, you need to replace it with your interface name. 

- interface=bridge-local  (bridge-local is my data vlan bridge, replace with your data vlan bridge name)

I have problem with some site like lowyat, therefore i temporary disable it. Didn't really spend extra time checking it.

Manage to play the RB4011 with WiFi using 1 Gbps Fibre

Speed is quite great

Only able to pust maximum capacity speed with fasttrack rule enable





Anyway here is the video

Just thought I do a quick test with hAP AC2 6.44rc1 with Fasttrack OFF. A but surprised.

cpu0 & cpu1 at constant 100%


server is TIME, not sure why it's 600miles.

Will double check later but:
1. Fasttrack rule disabled
2. Fasttrack counter dummy rule does not increase

Fasttrack ON as per my earlier test is slightly higher at 850Mbps with substantially lower CPU%.
