I was also there Sunday late evening.

And manage to get into one the the almost ready Banyan....

Pictures later (camera got problem)

But here's a quicklist :

1. Workmanship is good, A class (my standard, not sure about you taikors) rclxms.gif

2. Finishing and ID is good (but not luxurious, just the usual high end) rclxms.gif

3. Sitting hall - 2 x 2 polished tiles, very light yellow, with side skirting

4. Ceiling is 11 ft (estimate), already got cornice strips (so still need to put plaster ceiling or not?)

5. Dining & dry kitchen - 2 x1 homogenous tiles, earth brown, wall tiled up to 5 feet, single basin
2 plug points (this one a bit problem....)

6. Grndfloor bedrooms - 1.5 x 1.5 procelain tiles, off-white.

7. Backyard/wet kitchen - 8" x 8" homogenous tiles, grey mixed with black, right to the edge of fencewall.
Got concrete table with single sink.

8. Bathrooms - mixture of 1 x1 and 1 x 2 tiles, white and brown, full wall, high end fittings.

9. Stairs - etched tiles and usual wood handle & metal railings

10. Family area - 2 x 2 polished tiles, light yellow, Glass sliding door at far end with railings

11. Upstairs ceiling is 10ft (estimate) , already got plaster ceiling (I assume so, since it is one homogenous piece)

12. All doors are black/ very dark brown color

13. Master bedroom - 1.5 x 1.5 tiles, off white (i think all rooms has this type of tiles)

14. Master bathroom - 2 x 1 tiles, earth brown mixed with dark brown, bathtub, high end fittings

The car porch is < 18 ft wide, I think. So for those with two E Class mercs, may have problem side-by-side.

Summary - KLK did everything well and proper, as far as my eyes can see.

awiva wow you quite regular visiting BSC site. So when will be you next visit? Maybe we can arrange a meet-up.
I hear from a Bagalah guy they are rushing three Oleander units maybe for klk site sales office or showhouse. Just hear from those normal worker not very 100% sure but if is true. klk should have a sales office there if they want to sell fast. Few times I did see some ppl going there thinking to have a view in demo unit and maybe getting more details from sales office but was disappointed.
Maybe those balance units on Oleander & Areca has force them to built a unit as office or demo house.
You have done a very very details explanation list on Banyan rclxub.gif

I think KLK always built one or two 'sample house' where they test all the material, ID etc, to make sure everything fits before mass building the rest.
Good idea actually, then they can accurately budget how much material needed per house.

Nice shooting awiwa, Banyan looks amazing. Kinda make me wished that I had dug deeper into the wallet for it instead of Duranta...

Really gotta make a trip to the site soon. I wanna see my skeleton house lol (judging from the billing letter I received from KLK).

Awiva, thanks for sharing those nice pictures of Bayan. Does anyone find out if we can upgrade the room's tile to 2x2 polished tile?

Hope it get there in a year's time. Otherwise back to streamyx.
